I would 100% second this. I do think having Seth is nice because he knows so many people and so many stories and also has the piano at hand which is fun, but like mpkie said, I'd rather they cut back and stay at the same enthusiasm level than burn out doing the same thing they've been doing now.
Has anyone seen one of Jason Robert Brown's shows in his residency at Subculture? I'm wondering how well he could also fill in.
Don't get the love for Cooper. I've seen her in a few things, and while the girl can obviously sing, I never get any real connection between her and whomever she's playing opposite.
Michele not showing up isn't a shock. She seems so disinterested by her Broadway roots nowadays which is ridiculous because she also hasn't had a hit in a while. They're doing a Glee reunion soon too, but we'll see if she shows up to that. I feel like it'll be Criss, Ushkowitz, and McHale. Maybe Groff will show up for that one too.

I absolutely loved this, definitely got a bit chaotic, and I wished it went on for longer. It's the second time Groff's been on the show and he still hasn't done a performance sadly. Gideon needs to do a performance too. S.I.T.H. should do a Seymours show and bring them plus Jeremy back and do some LSOH songs.
I would have been shocked beyond all measure if Lea Michele showed up, not because I'm a fan (I used to be) but honestly didn't it's her kind of thing. Those who did show up though, love love love them and need more. Really glad we got to hear Skylar, Lilli, and John G. Jr perform.

I wonder if his well-known propensity for spitting while singing has anything to do with that. While it has been kinda of amusing in the past--eliciting a lot of (perhaps nervous) chuckles at the Little Shop performance I saw--now it might be a little disturbing.
I love ''Spring Awakening'' and saw it countless times so it was such a treat to see so many from the original 2006 cast reunited. Seth Rudetsky rounded up: Jonathan Groff, John Gallagher, Skylar Astin, Gideon Glick, Lilli Cooper, Brian Charles Johnson, Lauren Pritchard, Phoebe Strole and Remy Zaken. They recalled their wondrous and wild journey from the Atlantic Theater to Broadway and the Tonys.
Their funniest story had to be the time Jonathan forgot the lyrics to ''Left Behind,'' so he kept singing ''All things'' repeatedly. Because it's a somber song sung at Moritz's graveside, his castmates had to file past Jonathan, keep a straight face and avoid cracking up as he sang ''All things'' over and over.
For the podcast, Skylar beautifully sang and accompanied himself on ''Touch Me'' from the show as his castmates swayed to the music. Skylar then floored me by producing a backstage photo of him, Seth, Jonathan and John Tartaglia from ''The Leading Men III,'' our Broadway Cares benefit concert back in 2008. Since then, it's been so fun to watch Skylar's career in movies and TV: from ''Pitch Perfect'' to ''Crazy Ex-Girlfriend'' (where he did a terrific Springsteen parody, ''I Hate Everything But You'' ) to ''Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist'' (which returns April 19 on NBC).
I'd love to see the original ''Spring Awakening'' cast do a reunion concert, maybe for the 20th anniversary. I believe, I believe ...
Today’s “Fuddy Meers” was so great!! I’ve always been curious about that play and I just loved it. I get so excited for Wednesday and Saturday matinees now!!!!

I watching the marvelous Mark Setlock in Fully Committed today and just at the end I lost the connection. “Sam” was talking to his father about coming home for Christmas after all and that’s where I lost the picture and sound. Can someone note here what happened at the end of the play?! I saw the play years ago but don’t remember the ending. Thx! "
I think that’s basically where it ends—he got bob to take his shifts and got the callback at the Lincoln center
Can the Tonys please honour Seth for all his contributions to the broadway and theatre community at the next tony awards with one of the honorary Tony’s.
Yeah, that's about it. The "ugly woman" gets her reservation and knows the artistic director at Lincoln Centre she helps him get the callback/audition he wanted and by threatening Bob w "outing" him about trying to get a position at Bed, Bath and Beyond, gets him to take his Christmas shifts so Sam gets to go home. Happi nding!
Lawd can't believe I still remember this! ( esp the bits about the woman being "ill" in the bathroom!)
Loved the conversation with Alice Cooper this afternoon. It was fascinating listening to his connection with the theatre and its influence on his music and shows.

That interview was gold.
Looking forward to the JLP reunion. I wonder if they're planning any more Broadway reunions?
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
Stanley's "Smiling" was just breathtaking. And then seeing Patten & Gooding emotional while she performed it was another level. Still in awe of the staging for that number.

Loved the ''Glee'' reunion, but Darren Criss stole the show by doing a parody of a song he sang on that show. Instead of ''Teenage Dream,'' he did a clever COVID-19 version called ''Quarantine-Age Dream.'' Brilliant! (If you watch the video, it's around 57:25. )
