I appreciate this site. Obviously, it doesn't usually account for very last-minute cast changes, but it can give you a heads-up if a specific performer has an anticipated day (or days) off, so that you can decide whether to buy tickets for that performance.
It's a nice site to track when someone is going on. However, they rely on sources to post the information and the sources aren't usually directly from a show. It's more or less posting the info if a cast member posts on their IG. There are some shows that rarely have anyone listed, which tends to be shows that have a DNP clause, like Wicked, The Lion King, Aladdin...

U/S info for those 3 shows appear on understudies.org regularly.
Lion King has no history of any u/s listed on there.

Wicked is rare.

Scroll back on the calendars, genius. You'll see plenty of listings for Aladdin and Wicked. Not much for Lion King -- but they've definitely posted in the past.
...shows that have a DNP clause...
What is a DNP clause?

"Do Not Post"
When you're on I would assume.

Do Not Post - Meaning that the performers have a form of gag that doesn’t allow them to post upcoming dates appearing in the show (usually if it’s for a role that would greatly impact ticket sales).
For any of these three shows, it makes no sense. Chances are they just aren’t reported to this site since it’s patron and performer submitted dates. I see the understudy cast of Aladdin post their dates all the time on Instagram.

The cast board at Wicked is past security now, and with the Wicked movie bump performances are usually sold out days in advanced.
That being said the Glinda understudy (Celia Hottenstien) was on both shows on Wednesday and gave about 2 hours notice on her instagram stories.
Again, individual shows don't report to the website. It's essentially fans that add the information that go off of actor's social media posts. I'd assume no one really reports u/s for shows like Wicked, Aladdin, Lion King, Book of Mormon, Hamilton...

Stop talking about things you know nothing about, all those shows have been listed on there when people call out, the production submits it. How would a "fan" know when swings are constantly going on for every show? Or hours before anyone gets an email regarding an understudy? Ridiculous.

since I'm one of the moderators of the site, it is fan submitted. Oh, Mary & The Great Gatsby are the two shows that has someone within the production submitting official notices. there's the link at the top of the home page where people submit their u/s.

This IG post states that it's a volunteer run site via their contributions. Outside of two shows(Oh, Mary and Gatsby), everything else is submitted by volunteers.

And “America’s Sweetheart” gets taken down (yet another) peg.

So, fans, volunteers, and moderators are three different things. And considering you are often very surprised by understudies and stated a month ago there were "a ton of people on for Hamilton today" when there were only two? Yeah no. And why does a volunteer site with no comment section need "moderators"?. The website is often wrong according to many actual Broadway actors anyway if you do actually "work" there, perhaps you guys can do a better job?
The moderators are volunteers, too. There's often wrong information sent to the site, which we try to double-check. It's a free site to access (for now). No ads and nobody gets paid. Yet you seem hell-bent on insisting each individual show submits their info. If shows and actors have an issue with the site, they can email the head of the site individually. Perhaps there can be a system set up down the road for shows to post their own information on there.
