Did the artwork come from the same people that did the new Fiddler artwork, except not as nice?

"Maybe the aim isn't to make a profit?"
If Ken Davenport had any history of making a profit as a lead producer in the past, I would say sure, maybe this isn't to make a profit. But when you've literally never made a profit as a lead producer what kind of a producer are you?

From what I have read, the Deaf West production of Spring Awakening is already gainin a mass following. I am sure that the run will make a lot of money. What I am wondering is if this show will only be a limited run, what show will replace it? I am sure that many shows would fight for the Brooks and the Nederlanders must have a choice in mind. Any ideas? Also, of all the shows to integrate sign language into, why Spring Awakening? Not that it is a bad choice. I just want to know how it enhances the story.

I'm confused, what show will be at Brook Atkinson after January that wouldn't allow Spring Awakening to extend?

American Psycho?

If the goal is not to make a profit, then why is it being produced in an entity that creates making a profit as the fiduciary responsibility of the managing member?
As it is structured, it cannot make money over 16 frames absent an absurdly optimistic fantasy. As I often say, do the math.

American Psycho is most likely going into the Belasco after Hedwig closes in January. Waitress, American Psycho, and Tuck Everlasting are all aiming to open in the spring in a Shubert house.
As for the Neil Simon and the Brooks Atkinson, maybe Diner, or Ever After, or the Honeymooners, or Nerds, or Dear Evan Hansen, or The Bandstand, or Little Dancer, Bright Star, Beaches, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Titanic, Gypsy, Top Hat

I blocked Philly long ago, so I'm enjoying this bizarre turn the thread has taken!

if this bitch has blocked me than how does she know people are talking to me when nobody even said my name. Hmmm

Is Andy Mientus (sp?) going to be in the show?
Posted: 7/7/15 at 2:17pm
They haven't announced the full cast yet. And yes, you spelled it correctly.

Some shows do stake Broadway with an alternate goal rather than turning a profit. This production certainly seems a sure bet for a handful of Tony nominations (revival, director, etc) and having that kind of prestige project may be more meaningful to Davenport than money. And if his investors share that feeling and don't mind putting money in not expecting it back -- than there isn't really a problem.

I can't wait for this!!!

How does a moderator not see this and remove the post OR the user? Philly literally just called another user a "b*tch" straight up. Unwarranted. Bye, child.

Cause I wanted to see if Lizzie, who allegedly blocked me, would say something about that
ken davenport produced kinky boots. All the shows where he was lead producer flopped?

Greased
While I agree with you re the ***** remark, this is relatively tame compared to some of the names some call others. One poster PM'd me that a certain person had threatened to kill them. I have a ton of people on ignore because of the crap hurled at me so I just tune them out
