"I think it's WAY too soon for any Tour Cast announcements at this point"
Word. I'm just HIGLY excited. To be honest, I am not worried about the tour cast. Hair's creative team is very good at picking the best of the best.

That's what I'm guessing. His Twitter has a message up that sounded like that was the issue. (I hate Twitter, but it's good since people usually either update Twitter or Facebook. Broadway Understudes posted that Jay was on for Gavin) I've had a stiff neck before and sometimes it's a couple of days before you can move it again. It sucks. I hope he feels better soon.
As much as I love Will Swenson, I'm thinking I really want to see Steel as Berger while he's on vacay. Steel is kinda awesome.
I'm suffering from a horrid stiff neck currently. Have been all week. I'm scared to death to drive...I can't imagine the pain to dance.
Poor Gavin.

Hopefully he'll get well soon. Stiffness is a very common problem for Broadway performers and they (usually) recover quickly. Hopefully it will be the same for Gav.
Hopefully he's relaxing and getting massages and stuff so he can be better for the rest of the weekend. I'm sure Jay is amazing...understudies are always brilliant...but I'm coming from CA to see Gavin!!! But I can't let it ruin the show for me if he's not there. I have faith that he'll be better for friday night!!!!

What I found so awesome was they have a masseuse backstage. I saw that on the tour Will Swenson did with Broadway.com. I'm sure lots of shows do that, but that's the first I've heard of it. Kinda cool. I'm sure they need it badly.

Even I live in NJ and it is still hard sometimes to get into the city on time.

Me too, CSonBroadway! I'm originally from Brooklyn, but now I live about 40 minutes or so outside the city. I'm close to the bus and train, but sometimes I prefer to drive.
If I can ever find a good job in NYC, I'm tempted to move there. I'm more of a city girl than a suburbanite.
Same! After I leave the city and arrive back in stupid suburbia, I want to go right back to the city.

Suburbia would seem like NYC compared to where I live. There are parts of my town where kids literally hang out at Wal-Mart. I am not even joking.

Lord, Jazzy, I'm sooo sorry. Wal-Mart. Ew.
Okay, CSonBroadway, let's go hunt down some jobs and share an apartment! I'm sure we can find a way to share the $50,000 a month it'll cost us! LMAO
Seriously though. I totally am gonna move there one day. I may be 50 before I do, but I'm going to.
