Then I suppose that you don't want me to tell you I have front row seats in August. And even though I won't be seeing Gavin....I am going again in September.

I might do SRO this Saturday, so it's all good. It must be nice to be able to afford front row seats...sigh.
Does anyone know how many SRO spots there are?

Yes, GentleGiant is probably not going to like this news. Hopefully he will still enjoy the show.
I'm going to the Sat. matinee. I hope Gavin feels better by then, but I have my doubts. oh well.

My first front row seats were discounted, this time I paid full price...but not premium. (I would never pay premium.)
And I'm a grown up....I don't go on vacations....I go to broadway.

Posted: 7/9/09 at 9:53pmOh okay. Well do you just get your tickets for dates way in advance and you can score front row?

Posted: 7/9/09 at 10:11pmAs much as I love Jay, I would totally go Showgirls on his butt just to see Paris go on for Claude...

The ones for August I got in April. I hit Manhattan for a week with friends from all over. Once we picked the dates we would be there, I just played around with availability and found this pair. The truly remarkable thing is that several days later we learned another person was joining us and was still able to get the seat next to us...and a few days after that another friend landed front row on house left.
The last time I was only looking for one seat....and lucked into one only about 10 days ahead of time.

Posted: 7/9/09 at 10:44pmHope you (and Gavin!!) are feeling better soon, dramamama. I'm going in August and got front row seats also! But I'm going right before Gavin goes on vacation. I do hope he's feeling better by then. I'm selfish. I know everyone is loving Jay, but I've been spoiled and want nothing else but Gavin's Claude LOL

For the hearing impaired? Why just her part?
Aww...thanks. Between meds, ice and heating pads I feel like I'm an old fart. Who would ever think I'd be in the same boat at the same time with Gavin Creel. Even if he only feels half as bad as I do....it sucks!!!

Posted: 7/9/09 at 11:09pmi know i may seem like a total perv, but in the show, does EVERYONE *cough* gavin creel *cough* partake in the nude scene?
Hair 7/7#764
Posted: 7/9/09 at 11:11pmLOL No, Gavin does not take part in the stripping. It doesn't really fit in with what the character is going through at the point. He is a bit in front of the rest of the cast singing "Where Do I Go?" and they do the be-in behind him.

Posted: 7/10/09 at 10:45amHmmm.... I would really like to see Paris as Claude.... I know everyone says he's great, but I'm not too interested in Jay though.....

Posted: 7/10/09 at 10:56amI heard it from Paris, so yes. AryaUnderfoot, you could try standing room or the lottery. Leia, why don't you want to see Jay?
Hair 7/7#771
Posted: 7/10/09 at 10:58amThanks. Sounds like I'm running down to get standing room later on...
Hair 7/7#772
Posted: 7/10/09 at 11:01amI could handle standing room, but I wouldn't have money to get home... And although it's VERY tempting, it just isn't worth spending the night on the streets of Manhattan.

I don't know. I'm sure he's wonderful, but he didn't grab me as much as some of the others like Theo or Paris or Ryan or Steel.
Would also love to see Tommar as Hud.

Had to post it over here, because it's that fantastic. Video from last night's Showbiz Showdown at Don't Quit Your Night Job...David Bologna v. Will Swenson.
