Jazzy, I would welcome you with open arms to the wonderful world of NYC. And I would do anything to get you away from Wal-mart and closer to Hair and Gavin

AH, mucho gracias :) (For bringing the thread back AND welcoming me).

I should add that I've been to NYC once. It was seriously the best 4 days of my life.

DAMNIT!!! I'm literally about 300 miles away from NY right now (I'm on the airplane using the in flight internet)....I MISSED IT BY ONLY A FEW HOURS!!!!

I'm bummed

Maybe it means that Gavin is back though and when I see HAIR tomorrow night I will finally get to see my hero perform!!!

And believe me, if I lived in NYC (I may take up yay_gerb's empty basement though! LOL) I would be at the Hair lotto/SRO probably every night. Because I'm that sad. I'd also be going to both of Gavin's shows and not only the 9:30 one

Oh, I'm probably going to be suffering the next day at work! I probably won't get home until close to 2am! But it will be worth it. I'll take lots of pictures!

Has anyone tried to do SRO for the Saturday matinee of this show? I'm planning to do it this weekend with friends, and was wondering when I should show up. I have to hope/assume it'll be sold out.

Well, I went to do the lotto/SRO for the 3pm Sunday show. There were people already lined up by 10:30 am and the box office opened at noon. I'm sure the Saturday 2pm show is probably crazier than that. I'd say show up at the very least 3 hours before the box office opens.

eta: The box office opens at 10 am on Saturdays. So that would be really early. :-/

Oh, that's a shame. Gentle Giant is going to be greatly saddened.

For the record....my neck pain has gotten worse today.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
