Is Dee the only understudy for Stephanie's role? Hoping to see Dee perform as Cher sometime this week!

Alena Watters also covers Star & Lady but I don't think she's gone on yet.

She has gone on as Lady, but I believe it was only once.

Saw Dee was on at least twice last week?

 

Just got tickets a week after Tony's . Hope SJB is on.. Cher was my mom's time and she's super excited on seeing the show(After finally getting her to NY last year to see David Cook in Kinky Boots then going back 3 more times)

Jarrod has been out a few times too and the understudy was no Bono and no bueno. So flat.

hmmmm If Stephanie is on vacay until the 25th, I'll try to see it next weekend. Hopefully all three ladies will be on

When I went a few weeks ago, Jarrod was out. His understudy was taller than him, which made all the Sonny being shorter than Cher “jokes” fall flat.

I also saw one of the Sonny understudies- Michael Tacconi, he was great, but indeed was as tall as Teal.

Any chance anyone saw the matinee today? Evidently Michael Fatica, the other Sonny understudy (who usually plays Phil Spector, the Top of the Pops guy, and other minor characters), was in for Jarrod. He's pretty short so I imagine the height issue mentioned above with the other understudy wasn't an issue. Curious how he did. (Doesn't hurt that I think he's pretty adorable.)

I saw him in March. He was unremarkable and made no attempt at the Sonny voice Having seen Jarrod, it was a real disappointment and made the show feel flatter than it already does.

I saw Fatica yesterday and thought he was wonderful and sounded quite like Sonny. I haven’t seen Jarrod, though.

I was at the evening performance and Jarrod was in. Maybe it was a planned absence

Was there tonight and the room was electric! The show has its flaws, but the women are dynamite! Block is giving a masterclass performance. Def go see it! The whole cast was in tonight!

I’d think knowing the closing is happening that that attendance - barring already planned vacations - would be good.
