I am excited to hear reviews - I think this is the very first time she has gone on ever.

Wasn't Block also sick during most of the rehearsal process while in NYC? Curious to hear how Roscioli is in the role?
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

She was most defineately out. I finally won the lottery
Great seat. H22. They dont announce or even put in a slip. You just get the entire cast list on a paper with dees name as star.

Honestly wanted to run halfway into the first number. I think the show is very thin to begin with so you need a star to carry it. This apparently was Dees first go. Its a half way characature of Cher. She in no way embodies the role. Hard to understand lyrics when she sings. I think in trying to get inflection shes slurring words. Her voice is sitting in a higher range up in her head sounding nothing like you expect for the role. My biggest problem was her physicality. The posture the walk the attitude and personality. Its not there. She is not ready to lead this show. All the reviews were centered around Stephanies performance and the problem is when you lose your star you are left with an excrutiatingly flat show.

Also, OP the title of this thread is really misleading.  It should say "Stephanie Block out of Cher Show tonight"

Was there tonight with 6 friends. Disappointed she was out. The understudy was outstanding. She should be proud of what she did tonight. Enjoyable show!

On comment regarding Stephanie’s attendance. Tonight is the first show where she was not there. Since the beginning of Chicago’s run until tonight she’s missed 0. This show is a thought 8 shows a week.

Be curious to hear if Block misses both shows today. If she's sick, I would imagine she'll skip the matinee at least.

Any word if Stephanie is on for tonight? I have tickets for tomorrow and really don't want to see this without her. Does Ticketmaster accept exchanges/refunds if the star is out or do you have to do that only live at the box office? Could use some advise.  Thanks team  :)

That is my pet peeve in general. Is it that difficult to note ..SJB is out on Dec 9 (for example) in the title. If you just write tonight, people are freaking out for weeks if they hadn’t seen this earlier. Tonight is only accurate if you read this earlier on the same day. 

Regardless I hope Stephanie is feeling much better.
