wow, littlewow, you're on top of the situation - I like that!!
Wish I could be there, but no such luck.
I continue to wish and hope that somebody LIVE BLOGS the event - c'mon, tech friendly Sweeney Obsessives - bring it on home for those of us out of state!
Tell us where to read the play by play, and we'll show up in cyberspace with bells on!
Isabella?
Smart Penguin?
Quuestion:
What do the people who attend the show do once it's over? Will there be a waiting area inside? Do we just stay in our seats? Or do we have to go outside and join the line of people?

I think that they will have to wait in the theatre for a while.

Has the timing of this officially been changed? The email update I received from the website says 10:00-11:00, with the doors closing promptly at 11:00, which makes me nervous.
Yeah, originally it was 10-12, but now they're saying 10-11, which seems like a really short time, if a lot of people show up (which I'm guessing will be the case).

Thank you for the reassurance. I'll be arriving by 9:30pm so hopefully everything will work out. I can't wait by the way!

Thank you -- I'm flying in from Chicago for this (yes, it means that much to me), so you've just saved the rest of my day.
hm.....there seems to be something missing here.
Yea I don't know why littlewowo updated all of her entries and deleted her messages. She just said that everyone would get a chance. weird huh?

Looks like somebody on the PR side f***ed up and she's now covering her tracks -- I think they're going to have a lot of unhappy people milling about outside the theater tomorrow night.
I guess that if they're anticipating a lot of people, they can't promise everyone will get a chance. But I really hope they figure out a way to make things go smoothly, else there will be MANY pissed off people that night...
All I can say is I'm glad I have tickets to the show. phew!

Tonight's the night and I'm there! Very excited since this is the first time I'm seeing this version of the show.
Incidentally, it looks as if it is still going until midnight, but the doors close promptly at 11:00. So if you are still there at 11:00, there will probably be ushers opening the door for you.
i'm seeing Wicked tonight and running over to the Eugene O'Neill as soon as the show is over!
I'll be one of the frozen, potentially drenched people waiting outside.
I'll be one of the sick, gross, pissy people in California wishing I could be standing with yodamarie78 and the other freezing, potentially drenched people.

I'll be one of the people inside the theatre, who get shuttled to the end of the line behind the people waiting outside, who don't get their cd signed because we had the audacity to see the show.
The offer still stands. $30 plus the cost of the CD if you get a homeless person or tourist to wait in line for you and get me a copy.

penguin-- this is important now. You must bow to The Sondheim. Scraping may also me acceptable. And feel free to say that your friend SorryGrateful says, "Wussup." Actually, that may be inappropriate. PM me and I'll give you my real name to use.

Is this right? If I see the show will I have to go to the back of the line?
You'd think the people who see the show would have priority, or something. Cause if you go see the show, and aren't able to get the cd signed, that would MAJORLY suck.
How many people do you think will show up to this thing?

Well, I wish tons of luck to everyone tonight! Please post photos if photos are permitted to be taken.
I have been told people seeing the show "will not have priority" but the person who told me that has disappeared.
Pat, I'm trying.
SG, I will be a blibbering idiot when I get up there, but if you PM me SOMETHING to say I will, I'll probably tell him your name instead of mine.
I have a feeling it is no on pics, and I will not be thrown out of line. But if they allow them, they will be taken.
Thanks sp78.
I'm holding off getting the CD until the weekend in hopes that a miracle happens.

According to my mother, tonight's show is completely sold out!
