Edens last day is today. Which is sad. However does anyone think Michelle (Nessa) would be good as Elphaba? She has a higher voice than Idina but I hear she can really belt it! One of my friends worked with her in a workshop and said she has one of the most powerful voices. Idk. Just an idea. It might do good for publicity also since many people know who she is now. Any thoughts?
hhmm...interesting thought. Wicked is the only show I've seen Michelle in, and I absolutely love her as Nessa, but it's such a small, underdeveloped part that I'm not sure how she'd do with Elphaba. But she's a great actress, so she might be able to pull it off. I'd just like to hear her sing more; I don't know if she can handle the belting. I know today's Eden's last day, but is she performing as Elphaba today or is Idina still doing it? Just wondering!
Hey No one replied earlier, so I'll just post again. Could anyone explain to me how Elphaba's flying effect/machine works? I guess if no one answers, I'll have to just a create a seperate post, and to be honest, I'm scared of hte reaction!
LoL, munchkins?? hahahaha! I guess she just uses some sort of line that the audience can't see like fishing line except thicker and stronger. Yeh. I can't believe how rude some people have been about Wicked. I don't understand why they hate it so much! I think it's an incredible show but hey that's just me. I mean I don't really hate any shows, I don't understand how someone can hate a show unless it was done really poorly and the magic of theatre just isn't there. But I'm positive that Wicked isn't done poorly at all. Oh well! What did y'all think of the ending where Fiyero comes back? I was soo happy at that point. I was crying when Idina sang "No Good Deed Goes Unpunished" I mean she had her character as Elphaba down very well. So when Fiyero came back I was extremely relieved because if they both ended up dying so unhappy, that would have been horrible. What did you think about the ending?

Ok, she is standing on a small platform. She cant really move or she'd fall off and that would be....well bad lol. The platform is supported by something similar to a crane. Its a long pole behind the platform (going behind her cape) that lifts up and raises her off the floor. Something like that lol. There really are so many great special effects in that show!
I heard Wicked was going on tour in Toronto in March, is that true? Sorry that I'm repeating the same question but no one responded so......
