"That may be the central contradiction of The Lost Boys. It is frequently fun. It is consistently showy. It offers audiences a glossy, high-voltage night at the theater. But for all its smoke, style and sensory dazzle, the show never quite finds the pulse beneath the polish."

This one quote from Robert Hofler of The Wrap basically says it all for me if I should go or not. Answer: I'm not.

No it's not.   It's the beginning and end.  Get real.

Honestly with reviews like this, I think it’s safe to the long curse of the Broadway vampire musical has officially been lifted (pun intended)

These are big statements.  I don't think either is true.  They're average.

I'll believe it when a single vampire musical makes a single penny back. Until now, I'm sadly sure the curse continues.

Yes.   #4 out of the 6 new musicals this season.
