73 on Broadway Scorecard, worth seeing. Good, with reservations.

“Critics say this stylish vampire musical breaks Broadway's undead curse with spectacular visuals and rock energy, though the score and book don't fully match the dazzling production values.”

Interesting that people are getting "rock energy".  This, to me, felt like a cast of Spring Awakening performing overly-emotive musical theater pop whilst holding guitars (with a random, single attempt, at a "rock song" in a mosh pit visual).

Emo is, by definition, a subgenre of rock music...

Looking at what's available for this week, I wonder if they'd have been better off closing the balcony, at least to start. They've barely sold a ticket up there on some nights, and their massive capacity will make it hard to generate enough demand to drive up the average ticket price.

probably should.  one watches every set change from up there.

I start to enjoy the set sometimes - as the show goes on it's not well thought out for half of the audience.  The lighting does not cover most of the double wires per cast member. blur your eyes, they are flying.

Hey, Diva - maybe people would actually ‘bow down’ if you had the common sense to stay on topic. No one is in this thread to discuss “woke” or your personal views on the matter. Get a grip.

This was quite funny, but Alex Brightman and Sara Chase doing “Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer” had me in absolute stitches upon my first video viewing. So did Darren Criss and his punk-rock “Maybe.”

Contrasting opinions are great.  Unbridled self-importance and arrogance?  Not so much.

Your bow down" is just obnoxious and makes it hard to given any opinions you share a fair reading.

I find that TDF tickets follow no pattern whatsoever. It's about where are there holes to fill in the house and far in the rear Mezzanine or Balcony is given out when the house is pretty full. I had 2nd row Mezz on the side for Lost Boys, 7th row orchestra side for Schmigadoon (Both terrific seats). I've had less stellar locations for other shows however. It's the luck of the draw but always well worth the price.

My TDF seats for a Wednesday matinee were superb: row T of the orchestra, center. In the Palace, for this show that uses extensive vertical staging, just right. The mezz does not cut off the top of the stage, for those wondering. .

Has there been any word about a cast recoding? I saw this again on Saturday and am eager to listen to a few of the songs again — the cast is fantastic

So, I years the rush for the show is not great.

Im planning on seeing this on Thursday.

There are $44 tickets on Center balcony and $59 on orch partial view.

Any recomendations? Should I stick to rush?

I went on Sunday and got center mezz last row for $59 and saw everything. It was actually a great seat and had no one in the seats next to me. I recommend paying as little as possible for this show because it's terrible. Go see Schmigadoon! instead if you haven't yet.
