I feel like (especially with ticket sales tapering off in the past few weeks), Patti should be participating in promotional appearances/performances.

It couldn't hurt... (Couldn't hurt her Tony odds, either.)

Why do they keep using this number for television performances?  It's a great number but the staging comes off as cramped and bizarre to people unfamiliar with the show. Why not use "Side By Side By Side"?

Yeah, they need to book Patti on a Kelly and Ryan or View type show, something that tapes later in the morning. Or they should have had her do Seth Meyers' show instead of Katrina.

I wonder if everybody will be in today or we'll see any understudies. A 4:50 call, then a two-show day...that's a lot.

I'm curious how the shows are chosen.  Does NBC choose or do the productions request/bid/pitch for the exposure?  It seems like an odd assortment of musicals this year especially since there are so many to choose from.  

Mr. Saturday night didn't really give me any idea what the show is. Shoshanna sounded great and it's a pretty song and all but I have no sense of what this musical is.

SIX is pretty much always successful with their press performances.  The wives sound amazing and it just feels like campy fun.

Company delivered a solid performance.  The staging isn't ideal but the cast is incredible.

Mrs. Doubtfire was kind of "meh" in my book.  I get that they want to do the Doubtfire transformation but the song feels all over the place and the comedy of it reeks of old straight white guys writing and directing a bday musical.

Loved Shoshana's performance and that Billy introduced her. I actually thought that was the most compelling story arc in the show so I'm glad they highlighted it. 

I was also curious about Abby Mueller so glad we got some answers about her return.

Patti had already done Seth Meyers a month or so ago. And Katrina had not sung "Being Alive" outside of Company. For those of us like myself who are unable to see Company,it was great to see--and hear.
