Man the audience last night was crazy! And that lobby was terribly crowded. The show didn’t start unit 8:10 or so. Luckily it’s not a long show.
I was glad to see they switched Michael and Orfeh’s bows. I enjoy Michael as Callahan, it’s not him; it’s the CHARACTER. There’s just no way any Callahan will get more applause than Paulette, given the nature of the character.
Margot, Serena, and Pilar still need their own bow separate from the other Delta Nus though.
And can I say "Love and War" works so much beter now? I like the changes they amde.
Hum, what changes did they make to "Love and War?" That's one of my favorites!
I don't think that the bows will stay that way. For the same reason Rita Gardner bowed third to last in TWS, Rupert will probably keep his bow in NY in LB. He is a Tony award winner and if you were going by the size of the parts, then the bows are very wrong.
I hope Orfeh gets to keep her bow, but even if she doesn't, I am sure that the leads will all get their own bows come New York...at least i hope.

Just watched the video. Oops I guess the three girls DID get their own bow. Good. That's what I get for looking away for a second during curtain call. Stupid shoe slipping off.
I don't know. I think Callahan and Paulette are pretty equal sized parts. If they want to give Michael a solo bow or give him back the third-to-last bow that's fine with me. I just feel bad for him because the applause will die down.
As for "Love And War"
Well during the first week of previews Annaleigh’s character would ask, “Wait are we here here? Do I have to cancel my facial?”. The joke just didn’t work; it came off as too ditzy. So now she explains that they’re not “here here” to Elle. That much better IMO.
Also all the girls harmonize the phrase “Greek Chorus” near the beginning of the song.
Also Elle now sings that Vivienne is “twice is size” which a a funny reference to their height difference. I wonder what will happen when Annaleigh goes on for Elle at some point, given that she’s tall (provided the lyrics find their way to Broadway).
As long as thy don’t get ride of “Booty can’t solve everything” I’m happy.

Notice how quiet the naysayers got? Guess it helps to actually see the show first. :)
Definitely. I mean, it's going to have its flaws, which some reviewers have noted, but nothing major. They're calling it a possible hit. That's fantastic news for the Blonde camp, I've got to say.
I noticed you said earlier that you were looking forward to seeing it on Broadway this summer, so if you've yet to see it.. your obsession is dowright ridiculous.
If you have seen it.. carry on (but tone it down.)
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
No, I haven't seen it yet. I have however listend to the promotional sampler and have been following the show since announced. I mean, it's a free country, I'm allowed to like whatever I want. Was I affecting you in any way. It's an APPRECIATION thread and I'm APPRECIATING the show!
....so let me get this straight (please correct me if I'm wrong here): a show you've yet to see is one of your favorite shows?
If the answer to the above is yes (as I presume it to be,) I think you've proved my point better than I ever could.

Thanks for giving a bad name to everyone in the teenage theater demographic everywhere! We all really apperciate it.

What is your problem! Seriously, I did nothing to affect you! This is a LEGALLY BLONDE thread.
I'm allowed to like whatever show I want to. No, Tarzan's not my favorite, but I still like it. Sometimes you just have to like a musical for it being fun and having a good time.
