That was worse than that Oscars abortion.
Yes DJ. Check page 4 of the thread for the musical numbers list.
The Let the Sunshine In ending was really good. The rest, not so much.
Aw, hooray for Roger Robinson! I loved him in this play.
That intro was a big mess, although they finished strong with Hair. I follow theater, and even I couldn't keep the shows straight. I doubt the casual viewer got anything out of it.

what a cluster the opening was - and was brett michaes not live?
i'm glad Aaron got to shine on stage - he was so snubbed
Thanks, Taz. *hugs*
I am proud of him. Go Roger!
As bad as the opening was the, Quintet was better staged with Luck be a Lady inserted in it then it is in the actual show.

Sure they did. They got "this is why I hate musicals."

I liked the opening.
I thought it was good.
That opening. sheesh. Did anyone else hear the chattering in the background? I did enjoy the Hair segment of the opening.

"Spanish..Spanish..Spanish...Tonight!"
Besides the sound problems, I thought it was pretty thrilling as well, and a great way to honor a whole bunch of shows at once.
The sound in the opening was awful.
SNAFU, I agree with you regarding the Quintet. It was much more exciting at the Tonys than in the show.

i wasn't a big fan of mixing aaron and stockard's songs but it wasn't terrible. everything was pretty bad. i think they just wanted to have everyone possible on stage for Hair at the end...which was a freaking awesome ending to the very mediocre opening.
Hair redeemed the glittering puke that was served hot on the stage...
Performing in backwards alphabetical order?
Obsessed.... one of our wishes from yesterday came true. So happy for Robinson !!!!
The person on the soundboard needs to be shot!
