Yet she quoted Bob's reaction to Crewe. Who did she think the "We thought Liberace was just a little . . . theatrical" quip was about? Another confused critic.
I, unfortunately, could not attend due to summer class obligations. I do, however, have a friend going. She texted me not too long ago to say they weren't allowing cameras in the seating area. They are, however, allowing them on the lawn, so she's going to try to get some good video. She also got me some temporary JB tattoos and I was slightly overexcited. I know of a few people who are going and someone is going to get some good video. Updated On: 6/30/08 at 06:45 PM
And that's even without the pages that went missing in the great purge...

Speaking of Renee, I actually got to meet her the last time I saw the show (it was the crazy one where Jake was covering 2 tracks) and it was before she actually had ever gone on and she was super nice. She seems very appreciative of the opportunity to do the universal swing thing and I believe she went on the first time in Cleveland and is in Chicago to cover Michelle Knight's vacation at the moment.
It's so bizarre. Clearly people did smoke, and still do smoke in the world, even if it is not allowed in Chicago.
And I'm assuming that JB was using the non-tobacco herbal stage cigs anyway.

That smoking ban is ridiculous. People smoked like crazy during that time so removing it from the production takes a bit of authenticity away. I'm sure the production would have kept doing it as long as they could, too bad someone snitched.

Good thing they don't have a ban on handguns or Donnie will be shooting Stosh with a slingshot.
Weird that people are up in arms over cigarettes (fake ones at that) but not over guns. I guess they prefer to see people die a quick bloody death from a gunshot than slow and painful from cancer.
Just caught the tour tonight (July 12) in Cleveland and I was absolutely blown away. The theatre was packed and during intermission people couldn't stop raving about how much they were enjoying the production.
I was the only person who stagedoored, and I was invited (NO, I didn't ask, it was offered) on a backstage tour!
Super friendly and talented cast and crew all around.

Just saw Steven M. Goldsmith as Frankie. Best Frankie by far~!
He's a faker, and you've been taken in by his con. And in doing so, you are enabling him. He is doing more damage to aspergers than papa's words ever could. -Chane/Liverpool on me having asperger syndrome.

Would you like to elaborate?
Sure! (I don't know the proper etiquette of this so I won't name the person who showed me around) but I was taken in through the stage door, shown the call board, quick change areas, then taken out onto the stage itself, shown where the cables were in the stage floor that move props on and off, I got to see two of the 'microphones' and Bob Gaudio's keyboard up close, then I saw the band's lounge and the rooms where the costumes were held. They also explained the load-in process, etc. The whole backstage tour was was about 10-15 minutes or so.
It was really unexpected and I am forever grateful and appreciative that the person who showed me around took the time to do so!
:)
