Hm. Well, Taylor is going on for Joey nine days straight (per his email alerts), whatever that may mean.
The previous announcement was that I would be playing Joey for 8 performances, but that has just been extended to 12 performances (9 days). I will be on from Tuesday, April 3rd to Thursday, April 12th.

JLY has updated his blog and in it he mentions that Jarrod Spector, who just left the first tour, will be playing Frankie Valli in the second tour. Also, the second company will be starting rehearsals this week.

I am so happy for Jarrod. He is my second favorite Frankie (JLY is first, Michael Longoria is third). He is such a sweetheart and he was amazing in the role.

So who will be coming to Tampa in February of 2008. The first or second company. I would rather see the first but don't really care.

IF it's true that the 2nd Company is the one playing Chicago, then the First Company will be playing Tampa. The 2nd Company is booked in Chicago from October through mid-April (at the very least).
The latest news is that the first tour will play all the cities listed on JB tour website and the 2nd tour will start in SF in May and open in Chicago in October.

I know this is a werid question but does anyone know the name of the 2nd tour? or have they even given it one, I know the first one is called "the Sherry Company"
Mwahaha I knew it :)!
Sorry, just had to revel.
lol
I started a myspace for the new tour, I wasnt going to start it till I knew who the whole cast was but I did anyway, I have a few pictures up of some of the cast members I know are in it and I found them ( the actors) on myspace!
Craig Laurie is pretty cute!
"It was Erich's blog, and he mentions that the current company's last day in the city is April 29th, but who knows for sure since they're selling tickets until May 13th."
As others have said, the current plant is for the second company to take over in San Francisco and close out the run there before heading to Chicago.
This is what I know
"the sherry company" will be staying in SF and the new cast will be opneing in Chicago, the new cast has already started rehearsals in New York.
I take that back, the 2nd tour will be going to San Fran the end of April, and then will go to Chicago for a site down.

I'm guessing they're going to be naming future JB touring companies after Four Season songs whos titles are girls names. I think it's a good theme to use, and off the top of my head, I can think of a few songs to choose from.
It was mentioned in another thread that the 2nd company was having an open tech rehersal in New Haven on 5/12 and 5/13. So I'm guessing the last day for the Sherry Company in SF is 5/20, the latest date tickets are currently being sold for in SF. The second company will have to start after that.
The mentioned thread
Courter Simmons is not playing Joey in the 2nd tour, he is in the 1st tour, I have this right from Courter.

Aww, then is Rick going to be the alternate for Jarrod in the 2nd tour?
Rick had replaced Jarrod in the "Sherry Company" but then they flew Courter out to replace Rick, as far as I know Rick is still with the 1st tour.
I just updated the cast on the 2nd tour myspace page, I am not going to post anything about it on her but you can find a few more cast members on there.
