Erich played a great Gaudio. I wonder what his next project is going to be and who is going to be replacing him on the tour. Guess it's time for the rumor mill to start up again.

Now this is just be thinking out a possible scenario. I think we've heard rumors of people switching cast after the SF/Vegas cast finishes their stint in the city and heads off to Vegas. Now with Erich announcing that he's leaving the tour, is he moving on to another project or moving to a different company. And if it's to a different company it's seem that the Vegas and Broadway are highly possible. He may have been tapped to replace Daniel Reichard who's scheduled to leave the first few day in January. Guess we'll all have to wait how this pans out.
Just in case people need proof, he announced it on his website.
It is a possibility that he might move to New York if he decides to stick with Jersey Boys...he does live there after all.
But it is like someone said, Brandon and Eric from the Sherry cast want to go to Vegas. And Jeremy is going there too...I know for sure that Bryan is going to be in Chicago on March 18th...
Erich's website says: "Please note, there are other productions of JERSEY BOYS playing in New York City, Chicago, and this winter, San Francisco. Erich will not be starring in these productions."
And according to the playbill, Joseph Leo Bwarie does the same schedule Jarrod Spector did when he was an alternate -- Tuesday evenings and Wednesday matinees.

Someone was sooo wrong about what was going to happen to him on another board. Congrats to Zach.
I wonder who's going to be the new tour alternate. And I'm guessing he's going to be a swing because Cory Grant has been cast as the Frankie alternate for Broadway. Or maybe he'll cover Colin Donnell's track since his last show is 12/14 and Zach is supposed to start early December. Guess we'll have to wait for updates to see what's going to go down.

Went to the show tonight. Even though it was their opening there was no big hoopla, it was just like a regular night. Must be saving it for when they open in Vegas. There were things I liked and things that may take some getting used to with this cast, but overall enjoyed the show. Will probably go into details later on.
ETA: Inside Bay Area Critic, Chad Jones, has posted his review of the new cast on his blog. That was suprisingly fast since most of the time reviews in the Bay Area come out a couple days after opening.
Damn, Chad Jones works fast! (And I agree with him on a lot of points.)
Just got home from the show myself...more to say later, but first: * LOVE Kristofer McNeeley's "sensitive guy" Hank Majewski. He sounds hurt when he starts defending the nuances of his material, then like he's going to cry when he says, "Rob a bank!" I'd never thought of Hank being played that way, but it's a hysterical take. (I actually heard someone say, "Awww!") * Jeff Leibow is probably the standout in this cast, at least for me. I really like his angry Nick and how he starts getting nearly as worked up during the "soap" monologue as he does in the sit-down. * Enthusiastic audience tonight. At times too enthusiastic, since Rick had to restart two of his monologues. :) * I'd never noticed all the rings on the pot dealer/promoter/what is he? guy in "Oh, What a Night" before. Damn! I think they're the same ones Gyp DeCarlo has, but still.

Colin is leaving December 14th. I really hope he gets to go on as Gaudio before he goes - I really think he'd be great in that role. I'm at JB both shows on Saturday. Here's hoping!
Someone on the Jersey Boys Board posted that he put out a myspace bulletin saying he's moving on to another project. This is the bulletin:
"'So now that Broadway is back on schedule again I'm actually leaving the Jersey Boys stage. My last show will be December 14th and will be going to the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ to be a part of the world premier of Edward Albee's new play "Me, Myself and I"' Updated On: 12/1/07 at 04:59 PM
I've been following this thread silently in order to keep informed. To all, thank you. I was wondering if anyone had heard anything about the rehearsals or performances of the new cast set to begin in London?
