Lin is back (Karen as well) :))

They both just missed 1 performance, I believe.

Karen Olivo was out tonight (Sat 3/22 evening). I *loved* Krysta!Vanessa- very much enjoyed her singing, and thought not only did she have nice chemistry with Lin-Man, but also with Mandy Gonzalez.

and, 96,000 needs to be their Tonys number (which, if both Lin-Man and Robin are nominated, I am hoping and guessing it will be.)

Thanks for the info, Crazy4.... I knew Karen had missed Thurs, wasnt sure about the other days. I caught her on Friday night, and she sounded amazing !!!

Totally agree about 96,000 being the Tony song !!! But they have so many to choose from !!! They could do "In The Heights" or even "Carnival del Barrio"-

I told Robin last night to get ready for a Tony nom- He was so humble. Great guy !

I don't know if I would see them doing Carnaval del Barrio on the Tonys just because (and I know they exist, because I've suffered thru sitting in front of them while they complain about it at Heights) it might be 'omg too much Spanish' for the widest possible viewing audience.
My money is on 96,000 if Lin-Man and Robin are both nominated, In the Heights if only Lin-Man is nominated. But, 96,000 I think just plays the best for, again, the widest possible tv viewing audience.

I can't wait to see this show. I'm going on Tuesday. I have the Demo and I listen to it all the time! I am more excited to see this show than I have been about seeing anything in a long time!

Saw the 2:00 matinee 3/22 and absolutely fell in love with this show! Everyone was incredible! I didn't get to see Lin-Man perform, I saw Javier who was terrific! At the stage door though, Lin-Man came out and signed which I thought was really nice b/c he even said he wasn't feeling good and resting up for the 8:00pm show. What a wonderful weekend by seeing this show!

I love this show with all my heart. Not only because it's endearing, fun, engaging, energetic, etc, but because it's incredibly moving to see my flag waved proudly, my music sung and danced to, and my curse words uttered on a Broadway stage.

Totally agree... woulld love to see 96,000, but my money goes on "In The Heights"-- Its the "main/title" track, and it does introduce the characters. Anyway, bet it will be great !!

I love this show. Lin-Manuel is electric, Robin is adorable, and Olga Merediz had better win a Tony for her remarkable performance!

i've asked this question on here before but..how much is the cd predorder at the theater?...

is it worth it to buy it there when I see the show in mid april or should I just buy it form amazon for a bit cheaper?

How crowded is the lottery ? And especially on Tuesdays ? I am seriously thinking on trying it with my friend, on the only show-free day of our trip in April ! Though, I have to say, I am a bit scared of my lottery history ! Back in 2004, I must have tried the Avenue Q lottery about 6 times and lost on all of them !!

I didn't see this posted anywhere else, so thought I'd mention that Entertainment Weekly gave it an A- (very decent rating for them).

Can't wait to see this on our next trip in May!!!!

I think it was $35. I'm waiting to buy it from amazon...even for a two disk set, I think I could find it cheaper elsewhere. They always jack up the price at the theatre.

GMF:i think your chances for a tuesday are pretty good, and they may be selling tickets after at the box office if you don't win for a discount price. (i know they do that with rent and i think they may do it for ITH as well)

For Tony's which actors and actresses do you think could be nominated for Leading actress and featured actor and actress (i guess robin would probably be featured actor, but maybe christopher, and with the women its even less clear)

Did anyone see the show yesterday? Robin, Karen, and Mandy were all out. Bug hit the cast, and they were resting per docs orders, along with the fact that they were heading into the recording studio. Interested to hear how the undetstudies were !
