I will absolutely be protesting, and as a concierge in Times Square I will be telling every tourist that the Rockettes are a waste of their money.
Very disappointed in Texas State as well, and shocked that it has become the battle ground between conservatives and liberals in Texas. If UT is liberal and A&M is conservative, Texas State is half and half. The recent events there are very upsetting.

for the record ----- that email from the union along with social media postings and other initial reports were in fact WRONG!!! msg was never requiring rockettes to perform. it was always optional. this can be confirmed by any Rockette or crew/creative member in the meeting on thursday morning

Most of you on this board are really living up to the "whiny liberal" stereotype. Before you all make your judgements, I will make this abundantely clear: I'm in no way a fan of Donald Trump. Never have been.
But would I ever boycott the Rockettes? Absolutely not. It's an honor for them to be making an inaugural performance. I'm sure they'd perform for Hillary Clinton if she were elected. Their performance is in no way representative of their beliefs.

You may supposedly not be a "fan" but you're certainly not against him despite everything he has said and done, and that's all we need to know. I would rather lose my job (especially one pushing me to legitimize him) than perform at his inauguration.
It would be an impressive statement if no Rockettes agreed to actually perform.

Not now after the agreement was reached this evening, but if you read the article, it's not that cut-and-dry. Hooray for the women who want to dance for Captain Creamsicle. I've no doubt he will appreciate them in his own special way, considering NO ONE respects women, especially those in revealing outfits, MORE than him.
Personally, I hope to watch the Freedom Concert, but if it doesn't happen. I'll be watching anything other than watching Captain Creamsicle climax to ladies so very happy to be pleasing him.

Does anyone who voted for Trump really even care if "A - listers" are there or perform? I mean, isn't that part of the point of voting for someone outside the political establishment? All those celebrities were out there banging the drum for Clinton and it didn't get her into office.
I've voted in every election since I turned 18 over 20 years ago and have never watched a single inauguration. I personally wish they would just do the swearing in and get to work - then give all the money saved on all the hoopla to education.
