At the Menier Chocolate factory in London. If it's good, it could transfer to the West End, and then maybe Broadway! And we could finally have our Night Music revival. I hope it works out like SUNDAY.

OMG OMG OMG OMG!! Please let this be real....and transfer to Broadway so that I could see it....Emma Thompson is one of my all time favorites! She will be brilliant, I have no doubt.
"Years from now, when you talk about this - And you will - Be kind. "
Glenn Close has been attached to a Nunn staging of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC since last year, though complications with her television show could throw a wrench into things.
Emma Thompson would be divine.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
Thompson would make an ideal Desiree, she has the perfect mixture of sexiness, comic chops, broadness, and dramatic flair that the role needs. Close is not only completely wrong for the part but too old for it, and I'm actually a fan of her work, just please no Desiree. And yes, Nunn is the one that worries me, the idea of him getting his hands on Sondheim's great operetta kind of irks me. Oh well, at least it's not another Doyle.

She was in Me and My Girl. You can hear her on the cast recording.

ATTENTION FANS: I will be played by James Barbour in the upcoming musical, "BroadwayWorld: The Musical."
Yeah that's true, I've read in interviews Sondheim has gone so far as to say it doesnt's ound right to him when an actual "singer" sings "Send In The Clowns." The original Desiree wasn't much of a singer, and the role was written accordingly.
Judi Dench's "SITC" on youtube from "Hey! Mr Producer!" is absolutely out of this world.
Any chance of this opening before mid-May?
I love America. Just because I think gay dudes should be allowed to adopt kids and we should all have hybrid cars doesn't mean I don't love America.
