Ah, an orchestra with a great brass section.
And here comes one of my favorite songs ever. And I mean ever. As in I've played the Sarah Rice version 32 times in iTunes.
That audience is gonna go nuts!
She's certainly doing it justice.
Green Finch and Linnet Bird
One of my favorites
green finch and linnet bird, nightingale, blackbird, how is it you sing?
i am in heaven
32 times??
Hell, I've played the Harolyn Blackwell version well over 100 times on iTunes.
(I'm a dork)
AND HERE COMES HEARN AND LANSBURY!
Harolyn's version is the best, IMHO.
I was there when she did it at the Sondheim Celebration at Carnegie Hall.
HERE IT COMES! *braces himself*
they're going nuts!
God, I wish I could see this entrance! Someone's gotta release a DVD!
this is gonna be amazing!! I love Angela her comedic timing is so perfect! and George Hearn IS Sweeny Todd...I can't imagine anyone else in the role

Silly Priest. That's how many times I've played it in iTunes. It doesn't count the MusicMatch days or how many times I've played it on CD.

Sounds like George kind of lost the timing, and Angela forgot a part during the beginning...but they're still AMAZING. Oh my GOD.

Die, drunk hallmates. A long, drawn-out, and extremely painful death, preferably involving honey and fire ants.
She is still AMAZING!
what happened Plum?
There is no way to type what I feel right now, so I'm not even going to try.
i am in awe. that was stupendous! and now Donna!
OMG!OMG!OMG!OMG!OMG!OMG!
Donna! Oh Jesus God! I'm plotzing!
donna................ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.........amazing!
Donna Murphy is incredible. An amazing version of a difficult song.

My drunk hallmates were doing their drunk hallmate thing- walking through the hallways talking REALLY LOUDLY, which in my hall is extra fun because the acoustics amplify and echo sound, and the walls are about half an inch thick.
Said drunk hallmates were interefering with my "Little Priest" happiness. Therefore I would like to gouge their eyes out with sporks. Especially because I've had to put up with them all year.
Nevermind, though. Good music cures most things. *happy sigh* And damn, Donna Murphy singing "Losing My Mind" is as perfect a case of non-original casting as we've seen today.
