Merry Christmas everyone! I just needed to report that I got an awesome Mark scarf from my parents! It's actually the right shades of blue and white, and the stripes are really close as well:) I took a picture in my pjs with it on!
Hope everyone is having a great day!

A little (well, big, actually) threadjack:
I *just* confirmed 4 tickets (for my family and me) to see Sweeney Todd in February! I'm SO excited!
Back on topic...meaning the topic we were discussing before:
My family exchanged gifts for Hanukkah this morning, since we're going to a Hanukkah/Christmas party tonight. I got some DVD's, a PSP (I'm a video game freak, I admit it), and as a little joke, a William Shakespeare action figure with quill-dipping action! Since I love Shakespeare and I'm reading Othello right now in school, my mom thought I'd like it. I'm gonna take it to school with me next week and show my Humanities teachers.

Merry Christmas everyone :)
My Rent partner in Crime's mother just found out about Rent for the first time... Shes almost 17 and her mother flipped a ****, and "banned" her from Rent. SHES 17! All because her mother's friends thought it was a "disgustingly degrading film about society" and "how dare you let your daughter watch that garbage" Her mother hasn't even seen it. We were supposed to be coming to NY this next few months to see it, and now shes not allowed to come with me because she doesn't want us going. I even offered to take her to another show..

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!! (figured that would be all inclusive)
I didn't get much for Christmas... the external hard drive I got on Wednesday was part of my presents. Today I got a purple star light (one of those cool paper one that you hang from the ceiling... it's pretty), a pair of gloves from Amercian Eagle (the one that go over half your fingers, but are mittens too), and a ring that says my name... Rachael (which you don't see often), and some socks. Real exciting, huh? No broadway stuff at all. Ah, well... I do have some gift certificates though, so that should be fun.
(And a new avatar because I felt like it.)

And Phantom DVD, I am so jealous of all of you that got TONS of Broadway things...my parents think i'm too obsessed so wont get me that much
And yay for an external hard drive

I already listed what I got the other day when I celebrated Christmas. Today I opened three gifts from my grandparents and aunts and uncles. 2 tee-shirts, a sweatshirt and $20. Can't complain. I love all of my gifts. I'm a very happy person. I don't ask for much.
I'll just list again.
The Rent bible (Which I read in a day. I couldn't put it down. I tried, but it was pulling me. I had to read the entire thing, front to back.
The Grimmerie (I still have yet to read it. I have looked through it before, which is one reason that I wanted it)
Phantom and Christine music statue (Angel of Music) ~ from my older sister
Phantom snow globe (Masquerade) ~ from my younger sister. I was staring at them in the store a few weeks ago.
Star Wars Battlefront II ~ for Xbox. I have the first one for Ps2 and beat it a while ago. It's amazing.
Rent OBC ~ I lost my original and was listening to a copy. I needed it back.
iHome ~ It plays the Ipod amazingly. It's really cool.
Ipod case ~ Light green to match my ipod mini.
Scarf ~ pastel-ish colors. They are vertical stripes. It's really warm...though I'm in Florida right now so I don't need it even though I brought it anyway But I will when I get back home. Brr.
Navy blue polo Shirt ~ I'm in love with polos.
Green/blue/white striped sweater ~ It's light green, light blue and white striped.
Light blue patterned leaves/ducks with wing tank top ~ I just love tank tops. Not spagetti straps.
White tank with rhinestones ~ Same as above.
Red tank ~ save as above
Black vest with furry hood and pink stripes ~ It's just cool.
Robin’s Egg blue purse ~ I picked it out. I wanted a new purse.
And that's it...:) Very nice things.
And randomly finding the Yule Log in HD. Priceless. My cousin and I found that amusing. HD is really cool. Especially since yesterday we found Gladiator on TNTHD, but the gory parts were cut out. It seemed awkward, but looked amazing.

sadly, not a very broadway holiday for me... but I did get some nice presents.
An mp3 player which I'm lovin', a pink outfit, pink shirt (I like pink...), 2 different Eeyore pajamas, eeyore socks, and an eeyore stuffed thing (I like Eeyore...) Women of Faith Study Bible, etc. (believe it or not, I am 22...
a bunch of cash which I have to save for my trip to NYC where I'll be seeing Tarzan, so technically I did get something Broadway-ish.
17 minutes of Dec. 25th left for me, so for the last time this year:
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and all that jazz...

I got the Rent movie soundtrack. From my FATHER, of all people. He did call me 'Little Miss Broadway' when he handed it to me, but that's beside the point. *He* bought me a *musical soundtrack*. I was (still am) in shock.
Not only did I get the soundtrack, but I *finally* got to see the actual movie! It was still playing in one of the more popular theaters in Memphis (an hour and a half long drive, but worth it). It was really crowded. The entire theater, not just Rent. Though it was, too. I think most people there just picked a movie at random at went to see it. It was a very interesting crowd. Especially the gaseous guy behind me. But anyway, I saw it finally, so woo for me
