I know nominations aren’t out, but I was wondering what you all want to see each show to perform?
carousel- June is bustin out all over or blow high blow low
frozen- Love is an open door
the Bands Visit- Omar sharif

I rather see something intimate from Carousel rather than a group number (outside of a special group version of "You'll Never Walk Alone".
For My Fair Lady, "Rain in Spain" segueing into "I Could Have Danced All Night". Ambrose really should perform that at the Tonys. I know "I'm Getting Married in the Morning" seems like a no-brainer, but I rather just keep it focused. I wasn't a fan of the Sher Tony medleys like The King and I. It was rushed and unfocused.
I'd like to see TBV do "Answer Me." I think they're likelier to do "Welcome To Nowhere" (maybe into a medley with "Omar Sharif." But Answer Me is the most compelling part of the show and is able to include everyone.
Mean Girls — Where Do You Belong or Apex Predator Spongebob — Bikini Bottom Day or Simple Sponge Bands Visit — Answer Me or Omar Sharif Frozen — Medley or Monster Carousel — Waltz to showcase the dancing or Finale My Fair Lady — Rain In Spain/Could’ve Danced Once On This Island — We Dance
I think the Bands Visit is going to do a medley of Omar Sharif and Answer Me, more specifically the ending of Answer Me. I really can't imagine they'd do any other songs.
Here are some of my ideas... The Band's Visit: 'Something Different' Carousel: 'June is Bustin' Out All Over' or 'Soliloquy' Escape to Margaritaville: 'One Particular Harbour' Frozen: 'For the First Time in Forever' or 'Let It Go' My Fair Lady: 'With a Little Bit of Luck'/'The Rain in Spain'/'I Could Have Danced All Night' Once on This Island: 'Why We Tell the Story' SpongeBob SquarePants: 'Bikini Bottom Day'
Of course, it will all be a matter of what the nominees will end up looking like.
Spongebob - Bikini Bottom Day has been done a few times.
I’d love to see (Just a) Simple Sponge, introduced by Brendon Urie. It’s quite an anthem, and I think it will appeal to kids and adults. It will sell tickets. Plus, I love it.
Even better, have Lady Antebellum, TI, Cyndi Lauper, Brendon, John Legend, etc. introduce their respective songs, with the cast getting into position for each then the next writer comes out and the cast is reset. Somehow SpongeBob is dismissed as a simple sponge, Brendan comes out to defend him and then introduces the song.

Producers, you’re welcome."
Really looking forward to 72nd Annual Tony Squarepants Awards.
Caption: Every so often there was a rare moment of perfect balance when I soared above him.
Escape to Margaritaville - I don't think they will perform, but if they do, I would LOVE to see them perform License to Chill
The Band's Visit - Answer Me (this is literally the only song I know from the show)
Once on This Island - I haven't listened to all of the cast recording, but it would be nice to see Hailey perform Waiting for Life or the cast perform Why We Tell the Story (I was actually thinking of Mama Will Provide first, but I liked the other two more)
Frozen - I would really love to see Caissie perform Monster (I don't think we need to hear another live performance of Let it Go)
Mean Girls - It Roars, Revenge Party, or Watch the World Burn (I haven't heard this song yet, but the title makes it sound AMAZING)
My Fair Lady - Probably a medley like people are saying
Summer - NOPE, THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN
Prince of Broadway - I know that this will NOT happen, but I thought I should just put all of the musicals from this season on here because I thought it would be nice to see all of the musicals from this season...

I've gotta admit that's a pretty good idea. As much as I want them to do Bikini Bottom Day, I can see Ethan performing (Just a) Simple Sponge at the Tonys. Reminds me of Idina Menzel's Always Starting Over performance for some reason.
I feel like Carousel might choose to do a medley of "Blow High, Blow Low" to showcase the front-running choreography and "...Walk Alone" because it's so well-known and Renee freakin' Fleming sings it.
"Mama Will Provide" seems like the obvious choice for Once on This Island because it's the most crowd-pleasing, but this show is so ensemble-driven they may do one of those numbers, like "One Small Girl". They really need to find a way to showcase the distinct staging in that one.
Lincoln Center revivals always seem to do a medley.
Just remembering you've had an "and"
When you're back to "or"
Makes the "or" mean more than it did before
Mean Girls - the cafeteria song going into the moment when the Plastics are introduced
Carousel - I'm hoping Renee is being pushed for a Tony so we can see June is Bustin' Out All Over, but it will most likely be part of the overture's choreography into You'll Never Walk Alone
My Fair Lady - Get Me to The Church on Time, Norbert Leo Butz is their biggest chance at getting an acting Tony, they're going to highlight his showstopper that everybody knows.
The Band's Visit - Answer Me or Love Starts on a Downbeat (i think thats the name of the song)
Carousel - You'll Never Walk Alone or have on one side of the stage jessie/josh doing if i loved you and on the opposite side lindsay/alexander doing when the children are asleep and kind of go back and forth with lights. REALLY shows differences in character and those stunning voices. But a full company you'll never walk alone will do,
Escape to Margaritaville - Cheeseburger in Paradise
Frozen - First Time in Forever or Let It Go
Mean Girls- i have no knowledge of this show sorry my bad'
My Fair Lady - do what the king and i did where they performed three songs

It’s not opening this season

"Answer Me" from Band's Visit is the obvious choice, though the show must (and will) feature Katrina Lenk and she is basically the only cast member not in that song. Since it is short, I'd like to see them do either "Omar Sharif" or "Something Different" leading into "Answer Me." I think that would actually be entirely doable and SO effective for selling the show.
I would love for the Something Different reprise to lead into Answer Me but I would really burst from all the happiness if they did Itgara into Something Different. That would be incredibly special.
