...if any?
Right now - "Defying Gravity". I love my Wicked CD! I got tickets to see the show for my birthday and I'm really looking forward to it.

"Light My Candle" and "La Vie Boheme" from RENT have not stopped playing on my stereo. And I don't plan on stopping them any time soon, either.
Walking by the same person you've already walked by in the dairy, produce, and frozen-food sections.

Defying Gravity...though I *wish* it ended differently. *sigh* But I see that's been discussed before, so I won't rehash it! Its still an *awesome* song, and beautifully performed by the two ladies!

Posted: 1/5/04 at 7:20pmThe whole entire ROCKY HORROR SHOW Cd has been spinning in all the various stereos in my house. Favorite songs: Science Fiction Double Feature, Hot Patootie, Planet Schmanet, Eddie's Teddy, and of course the Time Warp, but the whole CD rocks!!

I love the ending of Defying Gravity, despite the constant input of the ensemble.

Posted: 1/5/04 at 7:25pmI've been listening to Defying Gravity and Schadenfreude constantly- I bought myself Avenue Q the day after I saw it and even my parents like it :)
#8Yeah...
Posted: 1/5/04 at 7:26pmIts not that the ending is *bad*...its just such a triumphant song, a defining moment where Elphie chooses her path, and... then... "Look at her, she's wicked, get her!" I'm still trying to light my ciggarrette and enjoy my glow, and there they go, butting in...lol! (okay, I don't really smoke, but the analogy still holds!)

"See I'm Smiling" - The Last 5 Years. Gotta love a woman who can bitch musically
"Dancing Through Life" - I love Kristin's rhymes. They're just so...SHARP! hehehe
And "I Read" - Passion. I have played Fosca too much!
Lady Guen! Who's Jesus? I loathe that song! I had to sing it front of lottttttts of people once and since I'm a baritone, and every Jesus known to man so far has been a tenor, it was tough.

BillFinn- Barrett Foa.
I love my 2000 Off-Broadway Recording...I do listen to the other Godspell recordings too, but I don't really like any of the other Jesus' in those.
OE: I can also listen to my Movin' Out CD...over and over again. I went on a road trip, played it three times in a row until it was angrily ejected by the driver, who yelled "How could you listen to that over and over and OVER again?!" heh

OK, here it is, most of you will have probably no idea, but this song is infectous and winning. Lately I can't get enough of it!
"Not A Care In The World" originally written for BANJO EYES, opened: 12/25/1941
Used subsequently in the off-Broadway revival of CABIN IN THE SKY, opened: 1/21/64
Music by: Vernon Duke
Lyrics by: John LaTouche
Two of the classiest writers of American musicals.

Yes, AVENUE Q is cute--I like the songs a lot, and WICKED is current, but this is an entirely different league.
