What happened to the producing team behind Great Comet and the 2015 revival of On the Town, Howard and Janet Kagan? Neither of them have had a producers credit after Great Comet closed in 2017. Just curious, because while the two shows mentioned, weren’t completely financially hit shows one could give them the benefit that they were critically successful. Are they still around in the industry or have they given up in theatre producing?

They’re still around working on projects.
Malloy recently sued / is suing them because they didn’t pay royalties for international Comet productions.

Didn't this couple eventually get divorced in the past year or so ?

The "these people need to act more like Scott Rudin" part of the article hasn't aged well.
Isn't he doing a musical with Susan Stroman for which he is also serving as bookwriter?
Howard is busy suing every single theatre he thinks is using any element of the Broadway production of Great Comet, including a red curtain. The ridiculous cease and desist letters are FLYING. Pathetic.
