I was lucky enough to see that - I loved it. I remember there were rumblings of it transferring to Broadway with Brooke Shields, but nothing came of it.

She's the co-founder of Sh-K-Boom records. Does anyone know if she's still heavily involved in the day-to-day? Maybe that's taking up her time.

Kurt Deutsch (her ex) still oversees the Ghostlight label, along with his Warner/Chappell duties.

She was sitting across the aisle from me at Aint No Mo late last year and she seemed to be having a fabulous time.


I saw her in The Portuguese Kid opposite Jason Alexander and she was sensational…quirky, endearing and a little unhinged, a really delightful performance.

I’d love to see her in something with Elizabeth Stanley, maybe playing family members as they look similar (if they’d been nearer in age they’d have been great for Side Show)…and they are both FRICKIN GODDESSES
