Between 1972 (when I saw my first show on Broadway at age 7: original cast of PIPPIN) to last month, I've lost count.
Let's just say, I've seen the original Broadway cast of every legendary show since 1972.

I'm 90% percent the above list is correct. When I first started coming to NYC and seeing shows, I didn't pay as much attention to OBCs. So there may have been some replacements by time I saw some shows, but the principals were original to the productions. I didn't include revivals I have seen with the OBC for those revivals.

I see about 80% of all shows that have opened on bway, in the last 20 years. I'd say most of them were original casts, so the list would be insanely long
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

I'll bite. Lucky for me I have my complete list of Broadway shows I've seen already typed out - so I just copy/pasted and deleted the ones that weren't the OBC. I'm not counting the original casts within particular revivals, unless they were revivals of shows that had never been on Bway before (i.e Classics-rule shows).

I've been fortunate to catch the OBC in several shows: On Your Feet, American Psycho, Shuffle Along, Dear Evan Hansen, The Great Comet, A Bronx Tale, Amelie, War Paint, Bandstand and revival OBC in The King and I, The Color Purple, Hello Dolly and Miss Saigon. But the one I was damned if I didn't get to see was Hamilton, and paid a pretty penny to fulfill that desire. It was when the filming of the OBC happened in June of last year. On my 4th trip to the show, my heart was filled with joy to watch it with the same cast recording artist I listened to for so long.

Anastasia- Everyone from the obc was there except someone from the ensemble.
Hello Dolly revival- Unfortunately, Gavin was out when I saw the show, so I saw his understudy. He was good though, and it was a great show. All of the obc was there regardless.
