Last Friday, I got my four CD covers back from Bernadette Peters - all signed: Anyone Can Whistle ('95), Song and Dance, George M, and The Goodbye Girl. Took four days.
Today, I got five CD covers (Carnival, Follies, So Long 174th Street, The Golden Apple, Cinderella) and my DVD inserts of "The Mothers-in-Law" back from Kaye Ballard. She also sent a personalized signed photo of her. Took eight days. Updated On: 10/20/10 at 11:52 PM
Quizking, although I can't answer all your questions, I'd like to offer a piece of advice. Unfortunately with any Broadway actor, there's no guarantee merchandise will be returned. Sure some stars are better than others, but there's always a risk. It seems that your opening night Gypsy playbill has great sentimental value. May I suggest that you order another copy off Playbill.com. Here's the direct link... http://www.playbillstore.com/gyliedofopni1.html. It's only $10. In the event that your memorabilia is never returned, you won't feel all that bad because you're only out ten bucks.
I sent Patti my copy of her autobiography (with a S.A.S.E.) and my playbill for Women... and she returned them both (signed and personalized) in less than one week.
I sent them to the Belasco and to Patti's attention.
2 questions: -I want to send my Mom's Sunday Playbill to Bernie, does she request a donation to -Broadway Barks, and how much? -I want to send said Playbill, a Sunday Roundabout Playbill, and a Night Music Playbill to Sondheim, what address do i send it to?
wdwfreak: re: TSS Playbill...Did you send it to a specific person, or how did you address it? I'd love to get a complete cast Playbill, since I JUST missed out on Laura Linney last time.
