pc1145N2- How do you include a SASE when you send window cards? I've never sent a window card because I never knew how!! Do you stuff a cardboard box inside the box you send the poster in?
Anybody know the address to write to Tony Kushner?

Today I received a signed and personalized playbill from Josefina Scaglione with a lovely note. Also, received a signed opening night playbill from the cast of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson.
I have purchased several windowcards online and one of them came in a large (26 X 16) envelope. I use that and with my letter, include a new shipping label with my address and new postage. I get the postage from the kiosks that are in the lobby of most post offices. They simply have to cover the address label with my new label, cover the postage with the new postage and re-use the same envelope that I sent it in.
So far, I've only had one windowcard not returned. I sent a window card to The Walter Kerr Theatre in hopes that Elaine Stritch would sign it and return it. I sent it 12 weeks before I went to NYC to see ALNM and figured I could get the rest of the cast in person. I knew it was a risk....and I'm glad that I took the risk, it just didn't pay off.
However, anytime you send anything out...there's always some risk involved.
Just sent out to the casts of: The Merchant of Venice The Scottsboro Boys Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown Time Stands Still Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson
First time sending out so ... guess we will see what I get back :)
I would imagine you could send your playbills to the Walter Kerr Theatre, attention Bernadette. Or she has an address listed on her website you could try. She asks for a $10 donation to Broadway Barks, so even though you're sending Playbills instead of asking for a photo, it might be good to send the donation.
I sent fan mail to Carol Channing via the Channing-Kullijian Foundation address on October 25 and I got them all back signed (and personalized) yesterday.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but for Playbills, are you guys writing letters to the casts, or just sending the envelopes with a note that says "Signed Playbill, please?" I'd love to ask for a couple from a few shows I missed out on while I was in NY.
^ I always send around a half page letter to the entire cast praising the show and performances, although there are some people that just ask for a signed playbill without saying anything about the show.
Anyway, today I got a signed production picture from Elizabeth Stanley from Million Dollar Quartet. It took about 2 months.
Yes. You have to figure out where the show you wanna send to is playing and send it to that theater. Also be aware, if you wanna send it to HAIR for example, sending it to the Kennedy Center tomorrow wouldn't make sense since it leaves on Sunday and may not get there in time, so you would have to send it to the next stop in Seattle.
