BwayBoundJoe - What address did you use? I'd like to send him my A Little Night Music Playbill to sign.
On a related note, I wanted to sent a letter and request to Bernadette Peters, and I've read she requests a donation to Broadway Barks. Do you think $10 would be okay? Do I just make a check out to "Broadway Barks"?
I sent a letter to the stage manager at Trust in mid August asking for a signed Playbill and haven't heard anything back.

I also got a signed and personalized headshot from Kyle Dean, but I knew it was coming because the picture he tweeted the other day was of my letter and the photo I sent him :) It made me very happy to say the least.
Today, I got: 1. A signed picture from Paul Slade Smith as Doctor Dilliamond 2. A signed and personalized headshot from Deedee Magno Hall 3. A signed and personalized picture from Dame Judi Dench 4. I also got a DVD of Sunday in the Park with George from Stephen Sondheim, in a different envelope then I sent, (I originally asked for a signed photo, so maybe I'll be getting that as well.)
I got a signed Elphaba photo from Mandy today. Took a little under 3 weeks. I also got a sweet note, and 2 signed understudy slips from Michael Berry, which surprised me because I hadn't sent a SASE, or requested a photo or playbill or anything. As if he wasn't nice enough in person!
Hi ... Those of you that are getting cast signed playbills back are yo just writing to the stage manager?? and if so how would you adress that?? and also ... I saw a few people say that they got back their window cards or posters signed ... how would you go about sending that since it's so big ... thanks so much and sorry for the long post!!
I haven't received ANY mail back, and it's been almost 4 or 5 months. Still waiting to hear back from Promises Promises, American Idiot, A Little Night Music, and La Cage Aux Folles. And I really wouldn't even mind if they never reply, but I wish American Idiot and Promises Promises would at least return the CD covers I sent them! :-/
If you don't mind my asking, where are you guys finding these addresses to send the requests? Some of my favourite actors either don't have websites or don't have address/contact information listed.
Send it to the theatre if they are currently in a show... The stage door people will handle it and about 70% of the time they get it, sign it, and mail it back.

Sorry to bring up an old thread. I'm writing a personal letter to Patti LuPone, but I'm not sure of where to send it. There's some adresses I found online but I'm not sure about them. Should I send it to the Belasco theatre, or somewhere else? Feel free to PM me if you can. Thank you!
Go for it. I intend to send my Opening Night GYPSY PLaybill to her (Dangerous gamble, I know).
On another note, I FINALLY got my PROMISES, PROMISES Playbill back in the mail. (Signed by Sean, Kristin, Dick, Katie, and TOny). It's a blessing and a curse because I blew off staqgedooring at A LIFE IN THE THEATRE to do PROMISES in person thinking I was never going to get a response back in the mail and now I have two PROMISES but no ALITT.

I really want to get an autograph from Kristen Chenoweth, but I have a quesiton: If you want an autograph, you just put an envelope in an envelope? I was looking through some of the other posts and I heard that people have sent posters to get signed, so does the cast get a new box to send it back in? I've never done this before, so I was just wondering. Thanks :) Updated On: 10/3/10 at 06:43 PM
Within the past couple of days, I have gotten back a signed Chicago playbill from John O'Hurley as well as a signed picture from Kathy Fitzgerald as Madame Morrible.
