The Dolly poster was a thicker stock than most, so I put three normal window cards in the mailer, and took it to the post office. They weighed it and put however many stamps it needed. It was like $7 something, but I don't know the exact total.

It doesn't hurt to use the search function to find these answers (which also goes for almost every single one of the questions you post), but you do not need to put the stage manager's name. Neither POTO or Lion King ask for a donation.
don't message me thinking im taylor trensch?? what would he be doing on bww?? you can't possibly be that dumb bye
I know this question has been asked but I noticed it was never answered. But does Straight White Men ask for a donation for cast signed playbills? Also does Marilu Henner respond to fan mail? I would loved her on Dancing with the Stars and would like to write to her.
Heard back from Hamilton and received a cast-signed Pride playbill from June. Took about 2 months, no donation request.

Just wondering...has anyone tried asking for a cast-signed Playbill from Dear Evan Hansen now that they're not as strict with sending out signed Playbills? And I'm also wondering if it's possible to send a letter to one cast member of a show asking them to sign a Playbill and for them to ask another person in the cast to sign the Playbill as well? I don't want it to seem rude and I don't know if they'll do it.

You're confused. Dear Evan Hansen cast members have always been allowed to send back signed Playbills in individual replies. If you write to an individual actor, there is/was no rule saying that they are unable to send you back one. Also, it's really rude to ask actors to ask other actors to sign things. Several cast members from various shows have complained about this via IG stories. If you're interested in more than one person's autograph or a reply from more than one person - write to them. Don't write to only one and then ask them to do stuff for you from other actors. They don't owe you anything, whether that be a reply or to ask other people for favors. Bottom line : it's rude. Don't do it.

I think this person may be referring to the time the production asked for donations to BCEFA in exchange for individual responses from cast members. I think it was after they won the Tony when the cast was receiving large amounts of fan mail and, regardless of what you asked for/who you sent to, you received a letter back asking for a minimum donation to BCEFA.

Has anyone gotten stuff back from a producer of a show? Lol, my bf is a fan of a Basketball player that recently announced he's a producer and I wrote to him just for fun a week ago (sent to the theater of the show). I highly doubt I'll get anything back BUT figured I'd ask on here. (I asked for a signed playbill, haha)
Also - I wrote to Hugh Dancy about 2 weeks ago -- anyone ever get a reply from him? (I just requested a signed playbill)
Received a cast-signed playbill from the Donna Summer Musical. No donation request.
Has anyone had any success with Anthony Boyle?
Also: Hugh Dancy has always been good with fan mail. If it’s taking him a while right now, I’d attribute it to the show still being in previews, and his new baby.

Oh yeah - the new baby! I forgot his life probably only has 2-3 hours of sleep currently, haha.
But another q: does anyone know if theaters forward mail to actors from past plays? I was able to snag a playbill that had Ewan McGregor (from 2014) and thought hmm... wonder if I sent it to the theater that hosted him would they forward his mail.. (with a SASE of course!)

Post your mail to the New World Stages address and specify on the envelope which performer of which show it’s intended for.

Received a cast-signed playbill from Frozen. No donation request.

I've recently gotten replies from Frozen, My Fair Lady, Rachel York, and Pretty Woman. All without a donation. However for BCEFA collection time, Head Over Heels is now asking $25 for a cast signed playbill, which is pretty reasonable compared to recent shows.

It was a nice surprise. Especially because the MFL one need up being a pride playbill from June with the full OBC signatures including Dianna Rigg."
What address did you use for MFL? I've written to them twice this year and haven't heard back at all.
