Coolkid- Just skim through the pages. Your questions have been answered many times. :)
I got mail from David Hyde Pierce. :) A personalized colored playbill. I was very excited to get a colored one because when I went they were already in black and white.

Whats the Address
I wrote the letter tonight and want to mail it tomorrow and hope to get something back within 2 weeks
I got a signed playbill from the OBC of Wicked (thats the only thing I have ever mailed for)
Now that postal rates have changed...
How much postage is required for a SASE?! I thought 2 stamps (82 cents) would be enough...but I'm not sure.
(just your standard 9 X 12 manila...for like a headshot or playbill...)
no one has answered yet....and i would be forever greatful for a respose!!

coolkid - I would address it to Tim, but that's just me. I don't think it's too late to get a response from him, but I would consider getting it in the mail asap so it gets there in time, and he has enough time to sign whatever it is you're asking for.
I think 2 stamps is enough - if you enclose cardboard or something to keep the picture from being bent maybe 3 to be safe. But so far I have heard that 2 is usually enough.
The Nederlander address is 208 West 41 St

"I was wondering when do actors usually go through and answer mail? Is it like something to do between shows on matinee days? Or do they take it home with them? From reading this thread it seems like most people are pretty on top of it, and so it just got me wondering."
I was wondering this too.
Does anyone know what's Sarah Litzsingers Management? I'm just wondering because I could try and track down the address to write Sarah to. I know Kate Reinders is 'Wide Screen Management'. Is Sarah affiliated with that as well?
Also, I know I can't get an address for Andrea McArdle as she's not on Broadway but does she have a Management I can write a letter to or not?
Thanks in advance

nyc - my guess would be that they do it between shows on like Wednesday/Saturdays - or maybe before shows if they get there earlier. I'm not sure though - they very may well take things home with them, but I would think it's easier if they just do it at work

You are going to need more than 2 stamps. Stamp costs have gone up. I always use 4 stamps. Here are the prices...
First-Class Large Envelopes
$0.80 (First Ounce)
$0.17 (Each Additional Ounce)
Stamps now are $0.41. If you only use two stamps you barely cover the cost to ship a one ounce package. Playbills and such could weigh up to 4 or 5 ounces.
[better go buy some stamps!!]
thanks a bunch!! =]
Hey anybody got anything back from Andy karl or Ofreh? Just wondering

I wrote To Orfeh and I got a Playbill Signed by Both Andy and Orfeh
Did anyone write to/hear from Mary Louise Wilson?

I have also gotten a playbill from Orfeh. As far as stamps go, I only use two 41 cent stamps and I'm fine. Actually, I'm still receiving mail sent out months ago with only 63 cents on them.

TheatreDiva90016 what is Harvey Fierstein's adress?
Just received a personal letter with signed headshot from Christian Hoff. Took only two weeks from the date I sent my letter to him..... He gave my son valuable advice for someone starting a career in acting.....
He's totally genuine, a true star, recognizes his fans, and even if he leaves Jersey Boys to star in "Pal Joey", I'm sure his success will be even greater.
bump...Mary Louise Wilson anyone?

Did anyone get headshots from mary poppins or legally blonde cast? I actually prefer those to playbills signing.
But I've gotten stuff back from Matthew Morrison :), Kelli O'Hara, Victoria Clark, Shoshana Bean, Stephanie J. Block, Barrett Foa, and Sara Ramirez. I think thats it, but I wrote to others earlier this week so hopefully something back from them soon! :)
Hello. Sorry for this repeat question.. but has anyone ever received "anything" from Joanne Worley or Peter Bartlett of "The Drowsy Chaperone"? I'm just wondering if they even bother to send anything back in the mail? Several weeks ago, I sent them and Beth Leavel a fan letter. So far, the only one who has responded has been the delightful B.L. from R.C. in Austin, Texas

Well I'm actually not sure who I received it from. Because I wrote to Ashley Brown awhile ago and didn't really hear anything, so I addressed another one to the "company manager". Most likely it was from Ashley since I wrote to the company manager pretty recently.
