Hi. I was pleasantly surprised to receive this wonderful paper picture from Joanne Worley. Now...I have hope that Peter Bartlett (Underling: Drowsy Chaperone) will respond as well. from RC in Austin, Texas
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
Hello. I found this quaint site dedicated to JoAnne Worley... from RC in Austin, Texas Worley World

It was probably the company manager bdavis. Ashley usually sends out a headshot as well as a mary poppins postcard.. I'm not sure if she would send a cast signed one. Hmm. I want one! Is the playbill still in color?
I got a cast signed Legally Blonde Playbill as well as a Deuce one today!
I sent a letter to the Company cast and asked for a signed Playbill from all the cast for me, and one for my dad as a Father's Day present. I also sent a Priority Mail envelope for the return, since this was the Monday before Father's Day.
Well, today it came back, which made the Father's Day timing a little off, but no big. There was a letter included from Gary Mickelson (the Production Stage Manager) saying that he hoped my father enjoyed his Father's Day gift, which I thought was a trifle presumptious, seeing as it arrived July 5. Then I realized the letter was dated June 13, which meant it was probably put in the outbox of the Barrymore on the 13, and it didn't go out in time. Which, I thought, was seriously awesome that they were so nice as to turn it around that fast.
Included were two Playbills signed by the full cast. In my letter, I mentioned how I had enjoyed the performances of Raul Esparza, Barbara Walsh, and Angel Desai, so Mr. Mickelson asked them to sign bookmarks for me (Angel Desai even personalized hers). And, the super-plus -- there was a fourth bookmark signed by John Doyle. So now I'm super-totally floored. And now even moreso in love with Company.

i dont know if this was already answered..sry if it was. has anyone gotten a playbill signed by the cast of SA. if you have, how long did it take? thanks!
I did. I sent it around January-ish and got it in March. When they send out playbills, they send out a big batch from all the requests and everyone gets it around the same time. So some people wait a week and others wait months. They will probably send out a batch either right before Krysta leaves or right after Alexandra comes in.
ok thanks. i sent a letter to groff in mid june, and i asked for a signed playbill. i also asked for him to pass it around the cast. that does make sense sending out an entire batch of them. i hope you get yours soon pc.
Yes the Mary Poppins playbills are still in color. It's a disney show so you can probablly expect color playbills for a little bit longer than most new shows.
Todays mail brought a cast signed playbill of Legally Blonde from Laura Bell Bundy. I also received a signed Jersey Boys playbill and a signed headshot from John Lloyd Young. His assistant wrote me a letter saying he was out of town and John wanted her to keep up with his mail.
I was about to write to him in Les Mis but he left before I could get anything out. About when will he be able to get mail via the Little Mermaids theater?
I got a playbill signed by the cast of Spring Awakening today! It only took a little over a week. (ohhh, and John Gallagher Jr. signed twice hahaa) =] Off to buy a frame!!
Here's the address I used: Cast and Crew of Spring Awakening Attention: Company Manager Eugene O'Neill Theatre 230 W. 49th Street New York, NY 10036 Updated On: 7/14/07 at 04:22 PM
The bookmarks say "Sex. Love. Commitment. (Not necessarily in that order)." on the back, and have the COMPANY logo on the front, and a group shot of Raul Esparza, Barbara Walsh, Elizabeth Stanley, Kelly Jeanne Grant, and Angel Desai's legs (she's sitting on an elevated platform above the rest) with a one-sentence description of the show and a discount code.
