I've seen several ads in the Times and a few in Time Out New York. Not sure about other print ads, but there's also a radio commercial. I'd hope now that they have those reviews to work with, they'll do heavier publicity.
Does anyone have a copy of the Times who would be so kind as to scan the full-page ad?

"I'll agree with everyone in saying Amy Justman's accent was annoying. Does she need to be from the south??"
the problem ISNT that the character is southern.
the problem is that that actress CANT do a southern accent.

Well, it's pretty much confirmed I am seeing the show in the next few weeks on either a Thursday or Saturday matinee
Adam and Mylinda just have to order the tickets :)
I can't wait! Lately I've been addicted to the video preview on this site, haha
But is it helpful to go into the show with knowledge of the score? I don't have the original broadway recording, or any cd of the music. Thank you!

Awesome. I agree about the southern accent, too. It was terrible. I saw it twice, once in previews and once after it opened. The show was incredible, almost moreso the second time, but that southern accent was so ridiculous. The whole time I was wondering "is it written that she has an accent? Was that just a directing choice?" There is only one reference to it, when Raul says something about southern hospitality, but it's not worth that one line to have a terrible accent in the show. Other than that I love the show.
Wooooow.
That's a hell of an ad.
That ad was in the papers this weekend.
That ad was also in the Newark Star-Ledger on Sunday. LOVED IT!!
Did everyone see the new fresh face with Elizabeth Stanley on broadway.com?
She's adorable.
I know. I REALLY want to learn to play the oboe. It's my second favorite instrument after cello, which I already play, so oboe is next.
I tried learning the oboe. It was not a pleasant experience. I'll stick with the flute/clarinet/sax, and all that other fun stuff I play.
The grosses jumped up quite a bit this week. It's still not stellar, but it's an improvement.
It's in the mid 80's, right? Not bad.
Ahem.
Full-sized version of the photo that appeared in New York Magazine a while back.
And it's number four on their top ten theater events of the year!
Ahaha, I love Raul's face in that picture. And where are they supposed to be in that photo?
I do, too! He looks... oddly alarmed (yet still, if I may, damned sexy).
It looks like it could be one of the stairwells in the alleys adjacent to the Barrymore. There's one on each side, underneath the theater's side exits.
Ah, thank you.
Yeah, you get the feeling that he is gonna go right back to making out with her after you leave.
I sort of get the feeling they're going to lose their balance and tumble down the stairs, but that's just me. The angle is funny, so it makes Elizabeth appear as though she might be too far away from the wall; it looks like they're gonna tip over.

It's like three quarters of a page in the actual magazine. I was surprised!
Really great interview with Barbara Walsh:

I know I've said this before, but now it is official
Mylinda got tickets for COMPANY for my family on Thursday the 28th! I don't know the exact row, but they're the seats reserved for the company's family and friends (they're house seats, that's all I know)
So I am VERY excited, and cannot wait to see this show in less than 2 weeks!
Awesome!
