Wednesday is supposed to be older as the plot involves her wedding, as ive heard.

Krysta Rodriguez played Wednesday in the last workshop and has told people she will be continuing with the production (I believe she also mentioned it in press material for something recently.)
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Madeline Martin was the first person I thought of for Wednesday as well. And Michael Cerveris for Fester.

Wouldn't Ceveris be a little too young for Fester? What about another ex-Sweeney...paging George Hearn

If age wasn't a big issue, I think Bart would do great as Fester.

I can't believe how many times I actually get that when I type Bart in...Roger Bart.

Kevin Chamberlain will be continuing with the production as Fester, I believe.

Matthew Gumley played Pugsley in readings. I think he's a perfect fit for the role.

Matthew Gumley was Pugsley in the first reading.
Adam Riegler was Pugsley in the latest reading.

Matthew Gumley is way better for the role, but then again I've never heard Adam sing. But I still think Adam's a bit too young...

I'm pretty sure Cubby Bernstein (sp?) was cast as Pugsley and Kyrsta was (somewhere) confirmed as Wednesday.
Great cast, but I still have almost zero interest in seeing it. My mind could be changed.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

"His next gig is a major role in the Andrew Lippa/Marshall Brickman/Rick Elice Broadway-bound musical The Addams Family, acting with heavy-hitters like Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth. He can?t say too much about it, but when he leaves Rock of Ages this fall, he has less than a week before he jumps into the next show."

The final full casting for this has yet to be announced. Neither Lane or Neuwirth has been confirmed. I am hoping it is as good as the buzz from the readings and that the two leads do sign. We'll see.

He's probably playing Lucas Beineke, the role that Michael Arden played in the earliest workshops.

I still think Jan Maxwell would be far better in this than Bebe.

If Krysta is involved, I'll have to see it.
