Two people who come to my mind immediately are Tony Yazbeck and Natascia Diaz.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

I definitely second Tony Yazbeck. I was so impressed with his acting in On the Town and would really like to see him back on Broadway soon.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

Givesmevoice, his performance in ON THE TOWN is what sealed the "true triple threat" deal for me. He was extraordinary is every respect.

Same here. I didn't see him in A Chorus Line, and really liked him in Gypsy, but it was On the Town that left the best impression on me.
I would actually say that Patti LuPone isn't a triple threat because she's more of a mover than a dancer. The same with someone like Donna Murphy. I think that if either had more substantial dance training, they could be triple threats, but they aren't now.

When MARLOWE opened on Broadway, one critic said:
Lisa Mordente is a triple threat, I just don't know which talent is the most threatening.

Not sure if she is still a good dancer but Kristin Chenoweth was really into ballet when she was growing up. She even wanted to be a ballerina.

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

Patti Lupone was never a triple threat. She could tap, but not at the level of a legitimate dancer.
