I would be surprised if he comes back.
Is there a "Whoops, Maybe This Wasn't the Job for Me" Club? He could join, along with Michele Pawk (Mamma Mia), Jenna Elfman (Nine), Shia LaBeouf (Orphans), and Jeremy Piven (Speed The Plow), among others...

Seeing the show Saturday... can't exactly say I'm upset about this news, but I do wish him a speedy "recovery." My guess is he won't be back.

For now? More like For Gooooooddd.
I give it 3 weeks before they announce Chris Hoch as the permanent replacement.
Cannot wait to go back and see the show with Chris as lead!
Ever since he wasn't ready to start when he was scheduled, I've been waiting for this.

Guess he lacked what it takes to be Hammer Throwing Champion!

So he is taking a 12-week disability claim which means he will still get a partial salary until he decides not to return.

Don't forget to add Jeffery Tambor (La Cage) to the "Whoops, Maybe This Wasn't the Job for Me" Club.
I have a feeling he won't return, either. Hope Chris Hoch will be the new full-time Trunchbull!

Bring on the Chris Sieber!

Not sure Shia should be in the club, that seemed more like a personality conflict, and he never got to do one show, no?
I haven't seen Craig so I can only go by what I've heard and what I've seen posted.
That being said I hope they do make Chris Hoch the full-time Trunchbull. I saw both Bertie and Chris and I thought Bertie's shoes would be hard to fill. Chris, however, was excellent as the Trunchbull. He put his own spin on the character and I am glad I got to see him.

12 weeks? Yes, until he announces he is out for good. Chris Hoch was wonderful and deserves the role.
Let's hear it for Jeremy Piven. Surely he has got over his mercury poisoning by now.

I'd be interested to see Ben Thompson's take on the role, too. He and Chris Hoch will be alternating for the next 12 weeks
Saw both Bierko and Hoch. No comparison. Hoch was SOOO much better. Bierko was just a bad choice
LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE, BWW BULLIES. LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE.
