Jon, I agree----the harmonies throughout WITCHES OF EASTWICK are great, particularly on "Something" and "Look At Me." Hell, anything the three women sing together is great.
In Whatever Time We Have- Children of Eden
Can You Feel the Love Tonight- Lion King
Suddenly Seymour- LSOH- woohoo Kerry Butler

OMG, we've totally been forgetting about The Radio from Caroline, or Change
By My Side from GODSPELL. I eargasm every time.
Totally agree, Necro.
BY MY SIDE makes me eargasm too.
ALL the harmonies in Dreamgirls. My G-D what a score!!!
And for sentimental reasons, the final "bababadums" in "For Now" from Q
Another great one, the end of "Till We Reach That Day"
There's a boatload in "City of Angels", showing just how much Jazz influenced Cy Coleman. That score screams from beginning to end with some of the chunkiest chords, and tightest harmonies Broadway had seen up to that point. Ed Kleban also did some amazing stuff with "Under Seperate Cover" from "A Class Act", but Sondheim and Bernstein seemed to somehow be able to interweave so many complex harmonies, and chords, that trying to pick one or two would make my little nerdy brain implode...and that would hurt. A lot.

priest, G-flat and F nautral together? That's too clashy for me.
In The Gods Love Nubia, the two part harmony for "the tears of nubia..."

caroline or change: washing finish
"time has come to perspire,
bring on that electric dryer.
suckin' moisture out [of] the air,
melt the hairspray in your hair"
The G flat and F natural aren't played together in a chord; they're played separately. It's a melody that pops up throughout the show.
Yes, I should have clarified.
The notes form a melody, not a chord.
There's a part in Carousel , the revival, during "if I Loved You" where Billy is speaking and he says "I don't know what it is...you look up at me with that little kids face" and the underscore, It makes me MELT! EVERYTIME.
And in "Sunday in thwe Park..." where Dot says "And he burns you with his eyes....and he's never really there" that whole part...I love!
And the trio during PASSION...HOT HOT HOT!

I love the little duet sung by the Beadle and Pirelli in the middle of the Finale of Sweeney Todd.
Elphabas harmony in "Wonderful"
The CRAZY HIGH HIGH D sung by Clopin in Hunchback in The Bells of Notre Dame
In the Into the Woods finale... on "sometimes the spell may last...past what you can see...and turn against you". On "you" it just always reminded me of a waterfall or something...love it.
THATS SOOO COOL!!! Its always reminded me of an unending spiral...cool beans
ooooh the ONLY really cool moment in the revival of Into the woods: The ending to Steps of The Palace w/ Jack, LRR, and Cinderella is quite cool...too bad the whole revival was ridiculous...

so i HAVE to second some of these:
"bean theme" into the woods, the end of "in his eyes" J&H, (i hate that i'm going to say this but...) i really do enjoy some of the harmonies in wicked - or maybe just the contrast between chenoweth and menzel...it works for me, "i wish i could go back to college" the computer lab part rocks my socks!, and SOOOO MANY OTHERS!!!!
i love that all you guys are dorks like me :)
ah, how can I forget this.
Chess theme-from Chess.
Gee, the music is so clever and beautiful.
I love in Songs for A New World, On the Deck of a Spanish Sailing Ship, when they say "stop, take a look at the children, at the children who believe in this promised land." It gives me chills.

I love in "By My Side" when they sing...and I'll TAKE YOUR HAND...
its gorgeous.
Also I love Alice and Emily's version of "Live With Somebody You Love" as well as "Two's Company"...both have wonderful harmonies and they sing them beautifully.
Right now, it is when the three girls sing in the One Act Finale of WOMAN IN WHITE. L-O-V-E it!!!
