ome of the performance seemed just a little stilted to me, however i do fully accept that it was a)8:30 am (an ungodly time) and b)they probobly "cleaned-up" some of the lyrics to make it appropriate for the morning audience (remember: they cut the second base line when donna murphy did 100 easy ways on regis)

my favorite part was Norbert's "You got the guts/you got the nuts." line. the "poker term". that was grand. and just the song "It Was A Ball, It Was A Blast" will probably end up being my favorite song.
i believe the title of the song is "dirty rotten scoundrels", cats

There's no doubt that the camera isn't "lying" - Norbert has gained weight. But why be startled by it? There's simply more of him to love, and love him I will. =)
well then someone better post the damn song list from the preview on monday!
the only songs I know of are Norbert's "Great Big Stuff", Sherie's "Here I Am" and then "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" aka "It Was A Ball, It Was A Blast" according to Broadway.com...

Too bad Norbert didn't sing that last high high note
I was thinking it was too bad that Lithgow barely found a note. I never knew he wasn't a singer. Because of the role and the material, I'm sure I'll love him in the context of the show. But jeez. Singing isn't his strong point.
