Posted: 1/30/05 at 3:41am2 years ago I counted and it was 128 different titles that I could remember. (NOT counting some that I have seen 6-10 times each!)I have probably added another 15 titles since. (I have been going to musicals for 17+ years)

Posted: 1/30/05 at 9:57amWell, it depends. I've seen 22 DIFFERENT shows but if you count all of the doubles (and one quadruple) it's 30. Not bad for a kid who just turned 17.

"No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one."
Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

Posted: 1/30/05 at 10:26amI think asking how many DIFFERENT shows people have seen is more interesting than how many of the same show. Although I've seen many shows more than once, these people who return to the same old show over and over and over, without seeing anything else, are a little crazy. The last time I counted I was at around 80 different shows on Broadway, 30 off-Broadway, 25 tours, and about 60 community theatre and school productions. Variety is the spice of life, people.

Wow. I saw 23 Broadway shows in 2004. I feel like a very lucky girl!

Posted: 1/30/05 at 12:06pmAssuming this is referring to Broadway and Off-Broadway, my grand total is two (The Producers, and Blast a few years ago on a school trip). I'm seeing La Cage in 23 days, though... and Spamalot, in March. And there was much rejoicing. Yay.

I have unfortunatley lost track, I know that I have seen close to 80 DIFFERENT shows
The number of performances must be well over 100 for me, because I work at a touring theater stop and see everything more than once. (I've seen Mamma Mia and Phantom wayyyy too many times)
I have only seen 6 shows acctually ON Broadway.
