^yes! I saw that as well. As I was the one who got the notification, lol

I've now seen the show with both Ryan Vasquez and Joshua Henry as Burr and as much as I was looking forward to Joshua's performance, I was pleasantly surprised to have enjoyed Ryan's interpretation more.
Apparently Lin visited the L.A. show last night. He visited Chicago over the weekend. Guess he is checking up on his show.
My daughter and I saw the show again on Sunday evening - nabbing some seats the theater released on ticketmaster that afternoon. We saw the show in San Francisco with the entire cast minus Mathanee and in August in LA with Ryan Alvarado as Hamilton. I was pretty disappointment in Ryan's performance - especially because Michael Luwoye was so amazing in SF. Most of my friends who have seen Ryan Alvarado have been disappointed as well. I really wanted to see both Michael and Joshua Henry again.
The only understudy on Sunday was Julia Harriman as Eliza. She has an amazing voice - though I think Solea is stronger as an actress. Michael's performance as Hamilton blew me away once again. I think he has gotten even better. He brings so much passion to the role. My daughter and I spent at least 30 minutes just discussing his facial expressions in the show. Joshua Henry was amazing, as usual. When I saw the show with Ryan Alvarado, I kept wanting Burr back on stage and found myself rooting for Burr (and I'm generally Team Hamilton). Michael's performance is so engaging, that I completely forgot about Burr when he wasn't on stage. Michael and Joshua are really the perfect foils for one another. Every time I see the show, I notice about 20 things I didn't notice the previous times. There is so much going on.
^last night was actually her final performance. I wonder if they have a replacement ready or if they will just be alternating covers.

I'm seeing the Sunday matinee on the 17th, so that'll be Sabrina's 3rd day with the show. Super curious to see how she is; she seems to be a relative unknown? I'm super bummed to miss Emmy; I saw the show twice in SF and missed her both times.

I just checked the Hamilton LA tour cast list and it includes Joseph Morales as the Hamilton alternate. Was this announced anywhere and I just missed it?

I got to see Emmy twice and her understudy once (sorry dont know her name/dont have the playbill with me at the moment/she was great), I was expecting Emmy to BELT her ass off but in both the times I saw her in it (including LA opening night), she just sang it "okay"... nothing impressive. I did hear her voice on youtube first and damn was i impressed (from san Francisco) but she never came close to that when i saw her. Also i know no one "has to stage door" but she literally never stage doored in all her LA run. Kinda sad. Just wanted to complement her, but whatever.
I have seen Emmy play Angelica 3 times. The first time was in SF and she gave me chills. She had a riff at the end of "Satisfied" that went higher than Renee's version and was amazing. I haven't heard her do it since. The second time we saw her was in LA and she seemed to be having an off night. The third time she was wonderful - but still not at good as in SF. Maybe she peaked early - but I enjoyed her. She did stage door when we saw the show in SF - but the whole cast did early in the run.
Just saw the show - I was really impressed with Sabrina. I haven't seen Emmy, only Raven, but I really enjoyed Sabrina's performance. Satisfied was really great. It was full cast with the exception of the ensemble, which is rare. Everyone was spectacular - forgot how sensational Michael is.
Any lottery winners for tomorrow night out there? I am now 0-111 on my lottery luck....I was hoping for a little luck since there were going to be over 2,000 lottery tickets for tomorrow night's show. Does anyone know how many lottery entries there are on average with the tour? Congrats to all who won!
