Hm, I don't think that's true. The RCP no toss-up map has Clinton winning without those states. Trump, to win, has to carry a state where he's rarely (or never) led, like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, or Colorado. (If the map looks just like the RCP map but Trump wins New Hampshire, that's an electoral college tie.)

One thing I keep forgetting about when it comes to this freak-show of an election is the mere possibility of Milania as FLOTUS.  GAWD.  I mean, I guess if you're so far gone that you'd vote for Trump, you're okay with the FLOTUS you're also choosing, but I'd be curious as to how they can reconcile it.

I have a sneaking suspicion that a Lifetime movie is in the works...Melania, A Legal Immigrant's Tale.  As much as I loathe The Donald I gotta admit that he's assembled an impressive collection of trophy wives through the years.  An ultra-conservative friend of mine is fond of saying that Trump always gets the pick of the litter.

I'll deny she's beautiful. She has silicone breasts, augmented cheekbones, collagen-ized lips, and she dresses to accentuate her fake boobs.

And she knew EXACTLY what he was when she married him: She knew a man who could give her a lot of money. 

Like those Ukrainian brides they advertise on the Internet.

She met him at a party during Fashion Week. He was married to Marla and there with a Norwegian cosmetics heiress. And it was love (or commerce) at first sight.

Good God roscoe! I though I was angry!

And let's all admire Melania's pandering, I mean "talking points" today. Kellyanne Conway was pulling her strings like a puppet. As first lady MT will take on "Bullying"?? ...where have I heard uh...Pot Kettle Black ?  

This weekend is going to be brutal. I just watched Nicole Wallace and Steve Schmidt. NW said her mother won't even speak to her about this. I feel the same; I have three brothers; two of them haven't spoken to me since July and the 3rd, well, the tension is there but we resolved to not talk about the election. This has me incredibly sad. I know what HRC meant today in her speech, noting how everyone is being mentally and physically exhausted and/or sick. All I can repeat is please please VOTE!

(2016 will be in our history as 108 years for the Cubs to win the series, and 240 years for our 1st Madame President; I just hope it's not the year that my "biological" family disowns me.)

^ Attitudes like that are dangerous. With the stakes this high, it is reprehensible to absolve yourself of your civic duty. If you really don't like the candidates as people, look past them and at their actual policies. Look at their websites and educate yourself on the issues. Decency & compassion or pure evil. Your choice.

The senate and house races are important too, and to just sit it out is disgusting.
