When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

If it was really a "smash hit", it wouldn't need TV advertising, now would it?
If it were really a smash hit, it would have recouped already... but seeing as it opened this season, that is obviously not possible. But to be fair, it did accomplish quite a "smashing" with the reviews it got from the critics.
It makes me miss XANADU. Which I know makes no sense, but it does, between Cheyenne and the green screen and the cheese.
