Just curious.... if you don't think it should, what should?
Scottsboro Boys might take it, MIGHT.

^ that would be the huge upset of the season, although deserving I think BOM has to much momentum to be stopped.
I don't think it should win over THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS. But it will.
No.
Yes. I'd rather see any of the other three win actually. Especially Scottsboro Boys. But we can't always get what we want, can we?

cant speak for sister act but catch me in no way deserves to win over BOM
Yes, I saw all 4 of the nominees ---
I would rank them:
1) Scottsboro Boys
2) Sister Act
3) Book Of Mormon
4) Catch (very distant fourth...)
Book of Mormon is one of the most over-hyped shows I've ever encountered. I certainly had fun and was entertained, but the way people were laughing seemed like they were laughing at what they expected it to be, not what it was... And I'm sorry but Josh Gad is a poor man's Dan Fogler. He should not deserve to win a Tony for that performance.
Ultimately, I would have liked the concept of Book of Mormon better if it were a South Park movie with Cartman and Kyle becoming missionaries and having all of that happen to them. I care about those little cartoon boys somehow. I didn't care whatsoever for any character in Mormon. The acting is second-rate.
BOM might not be the most sophisticated or intellectual property, but it is fresh, funny and took huge risks. It's going to win-its a crowd pleaser.
I'm glad that Bobby Lopez will probably get another Tony without that dead weight Jeff Marx.

I'm almost scared to see the show because of the hype. My expectations for it are above the roof.

I agree with jdrye222 100%
Wonderland was the most original musical in the past millennium. There is no way BOM is beating it. RAIN might pull the upset though.
Actually the only thing that might take the award from BOM would be GLEE.
Lea Michele for Best Actress? y/y?
Thats just stupid. This is Chris Colfer's year.
GIVE BROADWAYS AND THE TONYS BACK TO THE BROADWAY ACTOR PEOPLE AND NOT GLEE!!!!!
Join mine facebook paige.
Jane Lynch all the way. Or Chris Darren for a supporting.
Not sutton foster is right guys.
Maybe Kirstie Brinkley should get a Special Achievements Tony.
I hear that Jan Maxwell has it in her bag
or Kirstie Alley for.... whatever Tony she wants

Shouldn't win? It shouldn't have even been nominated.
Its slot, and its pre-ordained Tony should have gone to Women on the Verge.
I haven't seen it yet (holding tix for next month with gads of excitement) but I would REALLY love for Scottsboro to pull an upset. It was FABULOUS. (I know it is highly unlikely for that that to happen though.)
It really ought to be Scottsboro Boys. I will also be a little devastated if Book of Mormon wins Best Director, when no one but Susan Stroman should have a chance. She did extraordinary things with The Scottsboro Boys.
