I’ll be humming Sister Suffragette all day in her honor.

She was lucky to have songwriters tailor these great songs to her lovely, "silvery" voice. We were lucky to have her. What a life and career. RIP.

At 17 I fell in love with her Desiree from my rear balcony seat at ALNM. She was glorious, and that first hearing of "Send in the Clowns" wove such a spell. It will always be her song.

No one has ever sung Send in the Clowns as effectively as she did.  It was so moving and perfectly fit her voice.

I fell in love with he when i saw The Sundowners when i was about 10…her role was meant to add some light to what was a a downbeat story, and she fit the bill perfectly.

Truly one of a kind.

Very sad to hear this, however I’m glad she still had quality of life right up to her 100th birthday, and was well-celebrated.

I watch The Ref (Kevin Spacy, Judy David, Dennis O'Leary and esp Glynnis Johns) each Christmas since the 1990s. The best Christmas flick ever all because of her.

In the interest of paying well-earned respect, it's Glynis Johns, not Glynnis.

In 1989 I saw Glynis on Broadway with Rex Harrison , Stewart Granger  and among the cast Roma Downey the play was The Circle. It played The Ambassador Thea.  for about six months.

Some great pics of her with husbands and with her son.  Their articles are a bit gossipy, but worth a look.
