Does anyone know who was involved aside from Cheyenne Jackson? Was it open to the public? Did anyone see it?
I heard Tyler Maynard's name being tossed around... I'm trying to remember who else. Celia Keenan-Bolger, too, as rumours had it.
Celia Keenan Bolger and Stanley Wayne Mathis.

where is this workshop being done? can the public go?
Disney's workshops typically aren't public, so probably not.
Liz McCartney, Tyler, Cheyenne, Steve Rosen, Celia Keenan Bolger ...
i heard Kerry Butler was in the workshop as well from what i read

I'm confused. I though mikeyb left the board, never to return.
He even said it TWICE! He means business.
.... this was almost a year ago.
mejusthavingfun: I just noticed that too...I saw it for a second and then I went to click on it and nothing showed up!
Thats funny - they are workshopping June 6-10 of this year, too.
I remember hearing some of the songs at the Menken concert at Merken Hall. One was a duet between Ariel & Eric. I loved that one and then one was Scuttle's song and I wasn't wild about that one.

I really love "Beyond My Wildest Dreams" and think it's fascinating that they aren't really taking away her voice when she's only land - just turning it into inner monologue that we must assume Eric can't hear.
They're doing another workshop this year?
Are workshops ever open to the public or do you have to be someone special and important to be able to get tickets?
I always wonder about this...esp. because I love TLM so much and would love to hear some of the music since I'll be in Japan next year when it hits.

You know, I'm normally of that opinion, but I'm actually really excited about The Little Mermaid. I think it will translate well - I just hope that at least one of the other Disney shows closes before then (Tarzan, anyone?).
TARZAN has traumatized me, as far as Disney is concerned. I'm very weary now.
I've seen a few Disney workshops... um I really dont know what the big secret is, but I guess Disney thinks they are original or something. Although I guess they have a lot to lose... if any spies had seen "Hoopz" they would have went crazy with negative press. What a debacle.

They are private and invite only.
