Out of the MANY ALW scores [I was going to post them all, but I don't have that kind of time!]which is your favorite? Out of the ones that I've heard (Phantom, Cats, Women in White, Sunset) I have to go with Sunset. I think its cause I saw this movie in my film class and really liked it. Then I listen to the CD and I really like it. (I have the Glenn Close edition). I'm really interested in EVITA and Aspects of Love. Anyone?

I'm going to have to go with my nostalgic choice, JC Superstar :0)
I like Evita, muchly
I only like three of his scores:
Evita
The Woman in White
Sunset Blvd.
Evita but only with Mandy Patinkin or Raul Esparza!

I'm not a big Webber fan, but I absolutely love JCS.
But I also like Evita, as well.

I forgot I've seen JCS on stage, I saw the tour. It was okay. Nothing really rememorable. Except, I know Mary sings some song that I really liked. I think its the "big" one from the show. So evita's good?
The movie isn't (the sound mixing is SO bad), but the score is ok :0)
Hrmm.. its a 4 way tie...lol
Phantom
Cats
Evita
Song and Dance

ASPECTS OF LOVE - arguably his best score - romantic, poignant, lyrical and operatic
I am a fan of the works of Andrew Lloyd Webber and I do enjoy listening to his musicals and other compositions. I have seen a stage production of all of his musicals, except for By Jeeves ( but I do love the song "Half a Moment" from this one)... Aspects of Love is my favourite musical, followed by Sunset Boulevard and maybe by Phantom of the Opera. Woman in White is becoming part of the next group, which would include Evita, Jesus Christ Siperstar, Whistle Down the Wind and maybe The Beautiful Game.
I also love listening to ALW music as performed only by full orchestras ( without any singing) - very good for mood-setting moments.

phantom
Phantom. Get Phantasia if you dont believe me, the music is simply stunning (plus Sarah Chang and Julian Llyod Webber on violin and cello, respectively are amazing!).
