What show do you think has OR had the best scenery??
I'd Say
Aida
OR
Dracula
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels or the Into the Woods revival.
Loved the sets for "The Color Purple". Especially the way it was lit. Sweeney's set was very cool. Loved the courtyard in "Doubt". I think my 3 favorites are "Sunday in the Park With George", "Into the Woods" and the "Showboat" revival.
The set for Sunset Boulevard was incredible
CATS
FOLLIES
I didn't see it, but BAKER STREET is said by most of the old timers to have had the greatest set of the last 40 years.
My mom saw it and she does remember the set being amazing.
My answer is Piazza...just gorgeous.
Light in the Piazza
Beauty and the Beast
Light in the Piazza
Scenery or set?
I loved I Am My Own Wife
such detail went into Crazy For You set. loved it!
I LOVED the set for "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" For a show that only takes place in one location, it was fantastic.
I hate to admit it - but the set for Starlight Express was REALLY impressive.
Rabbit Hole had some brilliantly complex scenery.
The Color Purple has the best scenic design I've seen this year.
The Light in the Piazza has undoubtedly the best scenery on stage right now. Its one of the best sets ever on the Broadway stage if you ask me.
Wicked has some really beautiful and intricate scenery.
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' scenery is wonderfully almost "comic strip"-ish. It's wonderfully colorful and versatile.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - hands down - An Inspector Calls.
and not only scenery - but lighting design and rain as well
I'd second Virginia Woolf. I also liked Glengarry's.

I am quite fond of Eugene Lee's designs for the original SWEENEY TODD and the revival of SHOWBOAT.
Also, my first Broadway show, the original OLIVER, with it's massive revolving set by Sean Kenney. It truly changed the look of musicals. It was one ofthe first times that sets changed in full view of the audience as the action continued.
Follies (original)
Sunset Boulevard
Piazza
Rabbit Hole
well, Les Mis's revolving barricade is pretty good. really love how Javert climbs it while it turns.
The Phantom Of The Opera
