The woman is pretty much awesome! From her incredible dancing skills (Carrie to Chicago to A Chorus Line) and her gorgeous voice, lets celebrate the current girl in the red dress! I won't be seeing ACL until February, but I can't wait! Only positive comments please, this thread's for Charlotte!
...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...
I've yet to see her live, but I can't wait to see her in A Chorus Line.

she is so fantastic to watch on stage. It's as if she gets shot out of a cannon and the energy keeps going the entire time. She is one singular sensation!
The woman is amazing I have loved her for years. Her Roxie is the best. Ever. hands down. And she was fabulous in CONTACT. SWEET CHARITY, too.
Can't wait to actually SEE her Cassie the 26th

have loved her ever since i saw her in SONG AND DANCE...maybe 20 yrs ago? thought then she was in the carol haney/shirley maclaine mold...sexy, funny, quirky. since then have seen her play roxie more than once (amazing and my personal favorite), contact, jerome robbins bway and her first nyc performance as charity where she showed us all how it should be done and with tremendous grace and class. i'm glad that's she finally getting the attention she deserves with ACL.

Charlotte is a goddess as Cassie. She sings like a dream and her dancing is just spectacular. I love how at the end of the number the choreography begins to "flail" -- we see in Charlotte why Cassie cannot be in the chorus -- its like on of those old nickelodeons which flicker out and die. It is a magnificent new take on the number and I for one LOVE IT! I know Charlotte bashers will say she's too old, only does six performances a week, doesn't have the stamina to perform TM&TM the way it should be done, but I think Charlotte's take, especially by the end of the number doing the handshake, is far more emotionally gut wretching than anything McKechnie or Reinking could have done. It really knocks home Cassie's dilemma and sets up the question What do you do when you can't dance anymore. Thank you Charlotte. You embody the true humanity of the theater.
Saw her as Cassie twice and LOVED her. Also enjoyed her in Sweet Charity and Chicago. Can't wait to see what her next project is once her run with ACL is over.
Charlotte is brilliant as Cassie. I can't wait to see what her next project will be.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

She's a great Cassie!!! LOVE HER!!! The best Roxie I've ever seen!!! Anything she's been in she's knocked 'em dead. I've seen her in Contact, Damn Yankees, Jerome Robbins' Broadway, Chicago(twice) & A Chorus Line(numerous times).
